Never tire of visiting Ludlow Castle! The surroundings are well kept and plenty of information and gift shop. Our dogs were welcome. Wonderful place..

The nice thing about this castle is that it is still standing and has lots if information to guide you through the various areas and what they were.

Have been in this castle at the xmas fair but to much happening to get to see the castle. So on a stay in Leominster decided to go and see it. There was nothing special about this place but worth the call if like us you are into castles.Lack of information boards inside was a pity and the amount we were charged to go in now and Christmas time, not much of that was been put back in to trying to restore what was once a great castle

I was disappointed by this, had hoped for more information about prince Arthur and Henry V111 who had lived there.

Wonderful castle. Take a little time to learn some of this history and it will really add depth to your experience. I cant wait to go again

We moved to the area at the end of 2013 and visit Ludlow whenever friends come to stay. The town itself has a range of shops and places to eat and drink; a great market; far reaching views; and a the castle on top of the hill. We have never been in the castle because it is possible to see so much if you walk around the outside. Walking all round will take about half an hour depending how many time you stop to admire the view or to wonder how it was build on the cliff edge without modern construction tools. There is an unsurfaced track al the way round but it may be difficult for wheelchair users. There is plenty of parking in the market place, which is just 5 minutes from the entrance, or near the Library and Station, which will take 10 minutes, or a bit longer if you park at the bottom of the hill.

This lovely castle is set in a idyllic market town - Ludlow, though it has changed in recent years, having been local myself, I still enjoyed the time we spent at the castle. This is very much a visit for all the family - children and teens will learn about the history of Ludlow castle as well as everyone else. Entertained with history you will be and if you're lucky you can get a lovely sunny day out of it, which is always helpful. I just adore this place, it's a great place to visit and the views around here just make it even better. I'd recommend to anyone! :)

We went on bright but windy and cold morning. Good size to explore, couple of parts to climb for excellent views on clear day. Has shop loos and tea room. Would be lovely in summer - picnic tables available. £5 entry .

A great place to visit. Walk around the walls outside. Then go inside. Try the lovely little tearoom afterwards.

Loved walking in the footsteps of Katherine of Aragon and her first husband Prince Arthur. Had he not died at Ludlow Henry VIII would never have been king
