Last here over 20 years ago for Al fresco performance of Romeo and Juliet. Wonderful to be back and wander at leisure. A little more signage would be helpful please

What looks a ruin contains a lot more if you read a bit and dig a bit. Buy a cheap book in the Gift Shop and have it unfold before you. Cast your mind back several Centuries and imagine it all going on. Part of our heritage that we MUST maintain for the generations to follow us

nice ruins to have a look around not sure it is worth a 5er mind, I like the fact you can explore all the little nooks and crannies and climb all the towers , views are nice from the top of them too, I managed to slip over on the turf which gave my girlfriend a great laugh and left a small skid mark on the grass (perhaps another attraction if I ever become famous)

Lovely ruins situated in a nice town, convenient to visit both. Some climbing involved as most stairs to visit higher area's are very steep but that adds to Tudor feeling this true castle has.

Interesting castle remains. More information boards would be good. Prince aurthur older bother of Henry 8th died here
