Well paired with the Scandinave Spa, this tiny, remote building hides a delightful worthwhile experience. We ordered the Victoria Platter for lunch along with a glass of Seyval and Chardonnay. Beforehand, we had spoken with the informative and friendly sales team about the winery history and sampled some of the wines. There was also an option to go snowshoeing on the massive, scenic property, but we elected to have an intimate lunch and shop for some divine wine. Since our tastes prefer sweeter wines, we naturally loved the ice wine and 'me lady elected to have Seyval as a sweet, smooth, 'easy-to-drink-alone' white, while I chose the un-oaked Chardonnay as a surprisingly sweet, well-rounded, meaty, food-pairable white. Bought some more in the shop too. Forgive my descriptions, but these are great whites!

Worth a stop at this Vinyard if you are in Collingwood area (15 min drive). Tasting flights available and host was very knowledgeable about their wines. Videos playing illustrate how the grapes are picked for late harvest and icewines. Vidal was particularly lovely on the pallate as was the Perry, pear bouquet and bubbles, 6.5%. Impressed by the lovely labels painted by a local artist. We made a 1/2 day of this with friends taking us on a little tour of area. Fall colours and leaves in October are scenic. Worth a drive there in the fall to view Ontario's scenic landscape and buy locally harvested fruits and vegetables aplenty. Definately sample their icewines!

We only spent time in the wine-tasting room as it was raining outside. The wines are unique (probably due to the cooler climate and soil composition) so definitely worth a try!Of course you can purchase their products off-site but visiting a vineyard makes for a great pit stop and you have better perspective when drinking the wine.

While initially we were concerned about the building's house-like appearance, once we were inside the building all our concerns were gone. The owner was knowledgeable about the wine he was serving, and was very accommodating to our group's wide variety of palates for wine. The ice wine, cider, and perry (which is a pear wine), were amazing, and definitely the highlight of the visit. All of this, topped with a very reasonable price, and we were well-pleased with our trip to this winery.

Georgian Hills is a new winery, just setting its roots down. The area is known for apple and pear growing, but a winery is a new concept for the area. We were warmly welcomed by staff members for our "pairing" experience. A little late in starting (waiting for a group that didn't show) but were presented some nice wines accompanied by delicious cheeses. I am not a wine aficionado. The dry whites and one red seemed fine to me. There were also sweeter wines tried.Our hostess was amiable and answered the many questions directed to her. The main building is modest but adequate with a spacious patio overlooking the vineyards and the beautiful countryside. Even a helicopter dropped in with a group of wine-tasters on board. All-in-all a delightful experience.

We were on our way back to Barrie from Collingwood, when we stumbled across this winery! Being from the Niagara Peninsula, my husband and I love wine! The view from the property is beautiful, the staff are kind and knowledgeable and the wine is delicious!

A group of 5 of us went, and we did wine and cheese pairings. We sat outside overlooking the vineyard and the valley while we were walked through various delicious pairings. Afterwards we went inside where we tried all of the wine, cider and ice wine they had - the Ida Red Ice Cider waa lovely, as well as the pear cider. Nice way to spend a few hours in the Blue Mountain region. In the winter they have snowshoeing which we'll be back for.

Stopped in on our way home from a weekend at Blue Mountain resort....the grounds are beautiful, the tasting room so so but the wine we tried and purchased really quite nice.

My brother-in-law took us on a Mystery Tour which included a stop at the Georgian Hills Vineyards.We arrived 5 minutes before closing time. We were welcomed and were given a generous amount of tastings while being informed about the wines we were tasting. We were not rushed.The staff were friendly and informative.What a fantastic stop along our Mystery Tour!! So happy to have experienced this!There is a $5.00 tasting fee OR buy a bottle of wine instead!
