For me, Union Covered Bridge was quite a drive, but hey, I needed somewhere to ride the motorcycle to anyway! After visiting Sandy Creek Bridge, I was expecting the same sort of park area, but this was simply the bridge and a sign. There were no picnic tables, no trails, no benches, most important after a long ride to get there no bathrooms... nothing really there.The bridge is not in the best of shape, but you can still walk across it. It is an interesting piece of history, but I wouldn't make the drive again.
