Beautiful beach, the largest ive seen in Malta or Gozo, stunning veiws. Toilets and showrrs available, cafes etc....well eorth a visit if in Gozo.

Arrived on Gozo and took the local bus to Marsalforn by luck as the one to Victoria had a very long queue. Scenic route but nothing much at Marsalforn, Restaurants n Harbour. On return trip we stopped at Ramla Bay. What a find, we had a lucky break on the weather so we utterly enjoyed ourselves thereDefinitely a great place to visit.

Only visited here a few times not my favourite beach but nice big sandy area and very safe swim area .serviced with toilets and snack bar .probably the most popular beach on the island

Another nice beach on Gozo very nice beach with a good area for swimming would imagine it to be busy in the summer if you are a beachy person this is for you

We first saw this beach during an open top bus tour of Gozo and decide we had to drive back to have a better look. We get to Ramla via a winding road out of the mountains from Marsalfon where we were staying, which was a thrill in itself. On arrival there's a lot of parking along the approach road and from there it's a short walk onto the beach. As the beach opens up flanked by green hills on either side the sands are beautifully framed by the backdrop of the fertile green valley overlooking it and the piercing blue sky reflected into the sea. It's a really pretty beach, yes there are sulo bins at the back of the beach and it'd be great if visitors actually use them to deposit their plastic waste. It was actually heart breaking to see plastic bottles and caps deposited onto the beach after a storm the night before. This amazes me that people visiting beaches to enjoy the beauty, just walk by ignoring the plastic ugliness. If everyone just picked up a handful of plastic our beaches would remain beautiful for our children. Yes I did. This beach isn't too long so it's a nice gentle walk from end to end and it's just lovely to sit watching the sea as it rolls in and out in this beautiful location.

Ramla is the biggest sandy beach in Gozo. I have been looking out for people on this beach for 6 summers. I still love it.To be completely honest I love it even more during winter when nature takes over rather than the tourists and the umbrellas and deckchairs. You can see the Calypso Cave from the beach and if you are a brave swimmer you can even swim around the right corner of Ramla bay and find San Blas beach.

tghe place is recommended in all guidebooks I have seen so I decided to give it a try - but never more at the weekend. Crowded with people, the sand was so hot that you could not step on it, slippery stones in the water - the beach itself is red sand but the bottom of the sea suitable for bathing is slippery so try to swim as soon as the water is half a meter deep (or put on some shoes). Beach umbrellas and deckchairs available at a good price. A restaurant and snack bar at the entrance, toilets and a few showers as well but generally - I have been to better and more interesting beaches.

At the end of the island near the Gozo ferry. Great access to all buses and ferries. Quiet, well maintained, every facility available. Staff helpful. Food tasty and plentiful and a good variety. Lovely rooms with seaview and comfy beds. Spotless. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Even though it was not a good day the prettiness of the bay was still apparent. We went back again when the sun was shining. Lovely

quite small,and a lot of rubbish bins on the beach,obviously required because of untidy visitors! walk to beach is short from car-park and easy to access. plenty to do if youre a diver or just to sit and sunbathe in summer.
