We really enjoy going to this theatre when we are staying with our family. This time we saw East is East. What a laugh it was but also had a serious side to it. Acting was very good and we were so pleased to see Jane Horrocks. she is a great actress. We had a coffee in the little cosy bar area and our seats were the second row from the front in the Stalls. What a view. I get the programme for further events there so will be going again. Soon I hope.

Have been to this theatre before and enjoyed that visit. A delight to visit intimate and quite grand !Stalls are the best and allows you to look in awe at the decor quite stunning. The productions here all seem very professionally undertaken, lighting and sound is very good. The bar area is rather small but adequate for a theatre.Parking can be a problem. We use a local NCP which isn't cheap but convenient and you can always find a space.

I recently went with my family to see The Sound of Music. A very comfortable theatre, most seats having excellent views BUT, the appalling lack of toilet facilities for women earns a black mark. It was especially difficult at this show as there were so many children being accompanied by their mothers.Elisabeth S

I enjoyed a performance of Swan Lake by the Moscow City Ballet. It was a great show and the theatre was amazing. Friendly staff and comfortable seats. Well worth a trek out to Richmond.

This was my first trip to Richmond Theatre and maybe not the best choice of productions as it left me really disappointed. Ticket prices were quite high presumably for Gerry Hall who did not appear. Nothing against her stand in who was very good but there was no pre-production announcement so I was quite shocked not to see her. The acoustics were dreadful (we were sat in the stalls). Like everyone else the commercials were not appreciated - have never seen this at Windsor but not sure if it happened during the Pantomime.I thought the interaction for the children was extremely disappointing - what happened to ' call me if anyone goes near my ......' or throwing sweets etc. This could have been more thought out with better involvement for the children. The dwarfs were excellent and to my mind made the pantomime.

Was a great venue, super viewing from all seats and Jerry Hall as the evil queen in a snow white pant - a real blast.

Wonderful theatre, near Richmond station.the only downside is the most expensive bar in theatre History, 3 Becks and a 175cl average wine £19.happy to pay the ticket price but picking the pocket of theatregoers who like a drink is a poor show. will have to get in the Orange Tree pre show.

Visited the theatre this evening to watch the pantomime of snow White and the 7 dwarves with family. The theatre itself is quite nice. We were seated in the upper circle and had a good view of the show. We had an issue with one of the staff with a programme. One of our party had already purchased a programme and I went and brought another one without realising this. I explained to the chap selling them that we already had one and could I getb a refund. Well he didn't want to this as if he was on commission or something. He reluctantly agreed but it was embarrassing. The programmes cost £4.50.Before we sat down I went to take a picture of the stage then to be told by an over zealous member of staff that i couldn't as all the set was copyright but I was ok to take pictures of the theatre itself. Ok then? He then proceeded to go round telling everyone the same. At the interval we purchased a small tub of ice cream for the extortionate price of £3. The actual show itself was ok. Jerry Hall was the star but was indisposed and they used one of the dancers as a stand in. She did a credible job. Chris Jarvis was the funny guy but he was not as good as Tim Vine. The highlight was definitely the dwarves. Phil Holden as Prof was excellent as was the one who played Cheeky. The real star was the dwarf called Loopy who was only 13 and is Phil Holden's son in real life. He doesn't actually say a single word but shows how good he is. Overall a good show, just a shame about the rude staff.
