but marred by the hostile environment of the golfers and the bar staff. I suppose I should not be surprised given it is the small-minded people of Alloa. Pity the restaurant is due to close at the end of the year. I would go back for the food but not for the natives

I was in town while attending the Ryder Cup, but had an open Saturday so wanted to get a round of golf locally with a minimum amount of hassle and at a reasonable price. I called ahead and they said I could play as a single with no problem and arranged a time 30 minutes in advance. I played as a single with no crowd or delays (even on a Saturday mid-morning). Although the course was not very long, it had a good mix of holes. Several holes were very scenic, including the par three #8, and both the greens and fairways were in very good condition.

Went here for a family meal, great food, great prices. The best pakora I've ever tasted. Staff were all friendly, highly recommend it :-)

Just back from a Sri Lankan themed night. The food was incredibly good. Every bite was delicious and it was really authentic and unusual. You will never get better value for money, three course for £10! I absolutely loved it. I was there last Sunday for Mother's Day and the lentil soup and roast chicken were also fantastic. I can't recommend the food highly enough and if you golf, the course is also superb.

i dont play golf but i love the food served at this golf club the club house is a large spacious lounge and it is emaculate so are the toilets. the food is outstanding great value for money.the staff are friendly realy good at there job.they have theme nights whitch i recomend

Had dinner here for a family birthday and would recommend highly, had a themed British evening menu as well as the regular menu with as much choice as any top restaurant..food was fantastic and cooked to perfection, my mother has curry and said it best curry she had in her life, will be back, prob for Portuguese night in March

I've driven past hundreds of times, but this was my first time actually taking the turn up to Braehead Golf Course. What a treat! A lovely course in great condition with an excellent clubhouse and nice wee pro shop too.Golfwise, this is a course where you can hit out most of the time, with enough trouble about to make you think but plenty of opportunity to swing freely. A nice variety of holes, perfectly decent greens and some really surprisingly excellent views of the Forth Valley thrown in for good measure.Clubhouse facilities are ideal, clean locker room and toilets with a really spacious clubhouse function room. Well cared for, helpful staff and great food and drink into the bargain.As a member at nearby Callander Golf Club, I'll be back to play here again soon, I thoroughly enjoyed my round here!

This was a favourite eating place for myself and my friends but it now has changed with new people doing the catering. You would be very lucky at the weekend to get a table but now it's empty. The food has gone downhill, such a pity.

Excellent flavours and they are doing some nice monthly events. It's good to see someone trying to do something other than the usual basic fare. Looking forward to your Thai night ....
