A narrow road which leads to dramatic ocean views. Take your time to enjoy the rural environment including sharing the road with large cows.

We were not planning on this road but so glad we went left at fork in road vs. right. It was a beautiful sunny day to take photos.

We had a lovely drive on the Sky Road - wet and drizzly weather. It was very quiet and we were able to take in the views! On the off peak time, it's definitely a must. However, I can't imagine what it'll be like in the height of the summer season. The roads are very twisting and winding. Skilled drivers a must on the road.

We had a beautiful drive along this road. Regardless of the weather, the scenery is amazing and well worth a trip. A must if you are in the Clifden area

Great road to travel, lots of opportunities to take photos of magnificent scenery. You get a mix of sea views and of local woodland etc. the road can be a bit narrow or twisting in parts for THATs ok, you slow down and see more! At this time of the year ( February) many of the Connemara ponies are down from the higher plains and are lovely to see, as are some very fine cattle. A few hares, plus some pretty bird life.

The drive is fairly short, but amazing views. There are places to park and take photos. There were beautiful flowers in multi colors and we have the best pics and memories from this drive.

Drove sky road summer last year and it didn't disappoint. Lovely views and plenty of great photo opportunities. Definitely worth doing whether your from Ireland or not!

We truly enjoyed Sky Road Drive. The views are amazing - what a wonderful surprise! WE enjoyed the animals along the way. Of course the roads are narrow, so be careful!

great views - worth taking the time to drive the loop. It has one view after another. We were lucky as it was sunny and the green green fields and blue ocean was picture perfect.

You can find signs for the sky road all around Clifden do it's easy to find. You drive on a road that is narrow enough for a couple of kilometres and you can see the terrain starting to rise on your left. You think you have reached the Alex but continue on until you reach a parking spot on the left, it's there that you will get the best views, even on a wet day it's still stunning and if you drive up on a fine sunny day? Your in for a real treat..it really is breathtaking.
