Lots of forest animals to see and show to kids and adults alike - not too far from Bialowieza village - hikeable with a bit of determination ;)

A nice walk in the woods though the exibits are rather disappointing. The tour guide we hired tried to make it a bit more attracive by telling us some stories.

Interesting to see the Bison, only a few. They were extinct outside of zoos, however a breeding plan has seen some returned to the wild.

we visit the bisons every time we are in the area, the park is designed in a fantastic way - yo feel that the animals are in wild and you are in a cage being watched by them :-)definitely worth visiting!

We came to see bisons and we weren't disappointed. It's not big and you can see other animals of the Bialowieza Forest as well. The weather wasn't good as it was raining when we arrive witch got us free car park. Normally you need to pay 8zl which is almost the entry price ( 9zl) to see the animals. Really liked seeing animals up close in their natural environment. Worth spending so e time there on the way to Bialowieza Forest

After two 4am excursions into the forest we actually saw quite a few animals but no bison. The zoo is nice in that you see animals that are native, in one sense or another, to that area and animals that you may not see otherwise. Here you will see wolves, lynx, tarpan, both types of deer (red and roe?), boars and we also saw baby boars, and of course bison. But why is the cage of the lynx so small? That cat looked so bored and unhappy, it soured the experience a bit. You can ride a bicycle there. Otherwise you will also have to pay for parking.

We visited this place while we were at Biealowiezo Forest. It's nice to see the animals, but it is not a must. I suggest you go hiking in the forest first, you might spot a Bison there in real life!

We stayed in Bialowieza at Easter and our hotel organised a guided tour to the Bison Reservation. Our guide spoke very good English and shared a lot of interesting facts about the habits of the local wild life. Despite the snow and low temperatures we enjoyed our walk and were so happy to see these unique animals fairly close. What a great place to visit!

We toured the restricted area of the park one morning, but we saw only birds, so this was a great way to see the other animals. This is an open air type zoo exhibit covering several acres and requiring a good deal of walking, but it is well worth the time. We walked from town (be sure to use mosquito repellant!). We saw red deer, roe deer, bison, kronik, zubron, wild boar...all very interesting.

It is not so easy to reach but it is worth a visit. If your time is limited half-day trip to the Reservation is already going to provide you with a lot of impressions. Though if you expect to see free grazing bisons en masse, you will be disappointed. The Reservation keeps 5-6 animals but even just those few are so impressive and interesting to see that they are worth a visit. The reservation also includes other animals, such as wolves, deer, and elks.On the way to the Reservation, you will pass through ecumenical villages, where catholic and orthodox churches stand at two ends of the same village square. Also, you'll enjoy the beauty of the Bialowieza national park. Don't miss out on the honey sold by locals: it is like nothing you've tasted before.
