If you are in Tbilisi even for just 1 day, go there for sure. This corner is very unique, the tower with the clock is very beautiful. You will find yourself like in Prague for a moment. The square is small but very nice. Also there is a small cafe there where you can have a rest and enjoy the view

Incredible experience. We saw 'Ramona' which is a love story about trains. It was funny, sad, moving, and unbelievably beautiful. Try to book tickets ahead of time. We were very lucky to get the last two tickets the day before.

Very special, with special sense of humor and nostalgy for old days, when friends were enjoying every sentence and momentum during performance. Reminds old days!

2 weeks ago I was strolling around the Old Tbilisi on a cobble stone ,just enjoying the scenery .I then came upon a clock tower,a mini version of the Prague clock tower in a charming neighborhood. There was a small door leading to basement .There was tiny ticket office! So I bought two tickets for a performance.A small intimate theater withhold seats .Music was haunting and unique. It was a story of a bird named Boris who was raised by old couple.Old man died and a widow was left penniless. So Boris stole from th city coffer and gets tried.Verdict was he would spend his life in a pet shop window, and upon hi death he will stuffed and be exibited in an ethnological museum( very nice ,too).Absurd story with a humor, touchingly told in a unique dialogues and English running subtitles above. It moved me and touched my heart.A story of love .Must see this unique art when you re in Tbilisi,AZ or Areminia ...just cross the border and go .

We saw the Stalingrad show, and watched it breathlessly, the 90 minutes are past before you know. It certainly is a 'must'. We went there on a warm day in september (their season starts in september) and it was pretty hot inside, I think wintertime will be better.

It's a cute little site, didn't go to a show as no one was selling tickets, but it's worth a look & only a short walk from the main old town centre. It's at the end of an alley area, so kind of a walk-by site.

The square is delicious, between the church building and the strange clock tower, straight out of fairy tales. when we were in Tbilisi had not yet begun the theater season (starts in September). But you can take a rest on the square or in the Rezo Gabriade Marionette theater's bar. We will came back surely

It is a must to see this quirky clock tower which have been built cleverly linking to the world of theatre! Sadly we didn't get to see any shows as they were closed until September. Go and have a look to kill the time!

do not worry that about the english subtitles or think that you will not understand the story- this is a must see part of Tbilisi

Unfortunately, we visited Marionette Theater on a weekday when there wasn't any show. They only have it on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Instead, we just waited for the clock to hit the hour and saw an angel rang the bell. It was really a lovely place. There was a cafe and a bar nearby. Tip: At 7:00 AM and 12:00 PM, instead of an angel, there will be a "mini show" on the clock tower.
