it is 1,5 km long and so cute with many shops, old buildings, offices, cafes. This is one of the central streets in Tbilisi beloved by its citizens and the guests.

It is a long street with too much trees and I did walk in it more than four times ,you should talk care of those exchange bureau there as the [price is confusing and if you realize it they will refuse to give your money back , the problem of the beggars there that these young kids come and hold your legs and hands and you have really to get rid of them . it is annoying and there is nothing to see in this street

This avenue is the heart of Tbilisi. There are many restaurants, shops, souvenir shops, cafes and so on. You should see there on foot and take photos!

There wasn't much special about this street. A few shops and a church here and there. Not worth the walk in my opinion.

This street has a lot of trees, very good. This street has a LOT of traffic and exhaust . And noise.Here's what it doesn't have, a lot of interesting things to look at. A few, but not a lot. You will walk on it if you go to the museum or Prospero's books and coffee. That's enough.

This is the equivalent of the Champs Elysees, but not quite the same. There are very high shops on the street, such as Cartier, Vileroy and Boch, among others. But it has the old style of Tbilisi as well. It is broad avenue with traffic going both directions and very heavy traffic. Best not to try to cross and go to the underground pedestrian walks to get across the street. As you walk along the Avenue, watch out for some unique artistic features on the sidewalk area or attached to the walls of the buildings on the street. There are street vendors along the street as well selling books and other items. The street passes the Parliament building, the main museums, such as the Museum of Soviet Occupation, among others, and the opera house. Plenty to see along and with some good restaurants as well. Worth the stroll on Sundays to see the people and children playing.

We were very pleasantly surprised at our first sight of Tbilisi town centre. The Christmas/New Year lights were fantastic. Probably the best lights we've seen anywhere. Our apartment was just off the Avenue so we walked along it several times a day and never got bored. Late afternoon and until late at night it was filled with stalls selling toys, food and even candy floss. There were several Santa Claus! Lots of shops, restaurants, churches etc.

During Christmas time, the entire avenue is lit with large hanging ornaments and angels. Really beautiful, lined with shops, restaurants, museums, national buildings and churches. Nice walk in a beautiful city,

Along this street, the central street of Tbilisi, , are several metro stations, the art museum, and a number of architecturally attractive buildings. There are also several blocks comprised of of galvanised iron. You need to choose in advance what you want to see on this street rather than simply wander its length optimistiically,.
