If you can drive by, perhaps after a good fish lunch or dinner in Porto Garibaldi, it is worth stopping by to see it from close-by and take a few picture. You can extend the visit to a walk through the rest of Comacchio, which in some ways resembles Venice at a much smaller scale

Comacchio is the main town of the region of the Po Delta. In fact it's a small fishing village that looks like a "little Venice". It's cut by several canals & joined by several bridges.The most famous of which is Trepponti= triple-bridge, dating from 1634, which is composed of 5 staircases & croses 5 of the canals. It's very unique & from its highest point you have a nice view of the whole village.The place is so beautiful & tranquile without masses of tourists.Do yourself a favour & don't finish your visit after seeing & photographing Trepponti, walk the streets, cross the canals, look around & absorb the atmosphere- it's pure pleasure.If you happen to be in Comacchio by the end of Sept.- begining of Oct. there is an eel festival(Sagra dell'Anguilla) that shouldn't be missed.

Trepponti is a really unusual bridge - definitely one to see, very pretty. Even if the best view of it is from the significantly less scenic main road.As another review notes: Comacchio is mercifully unruined by tourists, maybe we can keep it that way?But if you must visit, Trepponti is an obvious highlight of the town. Despite the numerous steps, some of which appear to be actively maintained, I can confirm that the town can be navigated with a large pushchair or pram - as long as you like carrying it up and down many steps.

Never seen a bridge like it, absolutely fabulous, it is a real landmark of the area. this certainly solved the problem of getting to several islands without building lots of smaller bridges

Comacchio is one of those places that you are almost ashamed to mention, because you want it to stay as lovely and quaint as it is today.There are towns around it that are tourist meccas, and people will go into the town itself, see the handful of sites, have a gelato, and go the beach--there is kilometer upon kilometer of sandy beach, a bike ride away from this lovely little town. Trepponti is by far the best known part of Comacchio, But I can't find a part that isn't charming and welcoming!

il treponti e molto particolare, e un ponte dove si collegano alcuni canali, ci vado spesso per farci una passeggiata, e sempre molto suggestivo anche solo per trascorrere un pomeriggio e mangiarci un gelato, questo anno ho avuto modo di andare a vedere il carnevale molto molto bello e molto particolare, da visitare

Struttura particolare che permette l'accesso alla citta vecchia diciamo. Un incrocio di scalinate ed archi che permettonio di vedere dall'alto il centro del paese e di accedere scendendo alle vie ed ai canaletti ove si trovano negozi di prodotti tipici alimentari panetterie ed ottimi locali per provare la cucina del luogo.

Comacchio e' molto bella,sembra una piccola Venezia.Sono molto caratteristici i canali d'acqua,e la chiesa e' molto bella.

Viaggio parecchio ma non mi sono mai imbattuto in una struttura cosi bella e particolare.Lo è ancor di più con i colori e le luci della sera.

Andate a vedere questo posto perchè è unico in Italia e forse al mondo. Comacchio è una piccola, piccola Venezia e i Trepponti ne sono il cuore artistica e paesaggistico
