In the heart of the city, art of '900 well showed. The Italian futurist is presented by the local artists and famous name. For free and well presented, last but not least the amazing architecture of the palace.

Rarely in Italy you can visit a free museum that value. There are lots of paintings of the last century many of which you may have studied at school. Although the guided tour is free. Check the schedule on the website to avoid the risk of finding closed. The guide told me that it is possible to open the museum at other times for large groups.

Hard to believe you can see such a brilliant exhibition as this for free. Having seen the Italian Futurist section at the Guggenheim in Venice (for a price of course) I was amazed to find a broader range of artists associated with this movement here in a provincial, Italian city! There are some beautiful works by Giacomo Balla, fortunato Depero, Gino Severini, ardegno Soffici ...and the list goes on. The exhibition, stricly speaking, covers "Twentieth Century Italian Art" - so you will also find some very nice pieces by Giorgio De Chirico and Carlo Carra too. The opening hours of the Ricci Palace (worth the visit in itself) are unpredictable ... we poked our heads in on a day when it was meant to be closed and got a private viewing! Macerata is a beautiful town - very elegant and monumental. Full of surprises.

Confermo tutti i complimenti degli altri visitatori a questo bellissimo palazzo ben mantenuto che viene valorizzato accogliendo questa collezione di quadri di arte moderna. Tutto gratuito e con una competente guida. Aperto fino alle 19. Peccato non aver trovato nessun catalogo delle opere.

Museo da pochi anni restaurato con opere molto belle del periodo rinascimentale e dell'800. OPERE DI ASSOLUTA BELLEZZA. Vale la pena sicuramente una visita

In un palazzo molto bello che fa parte di una fondazione di una Banca abbiamo trovato una eccellente collezione di arte Italiana del Novecento. La visita viene fatta da una guida esperta che ci accompagna per tutti i tre piani della mostra, ed è completamente gratuita.Ci sono molti capolavori e perssi di Fontana, De Chirico, Morandi, Carrà e tanti artisit del futurimo Italiano.Infine, il palazzo Ricci è stato anche finemente ristrutturato ed è molto bello.
