Imagine being able to touch and feel history!! Imagine the purest air possible!! Imagine lovely pebbled beaches and clear blue waters!! You'll find it all here at the Paselis. Very near to the base of Olympos Teleferik and a must visit place when in Antalya/Kemer. This place used to be a commercial hub during early roman empire back in 3rd century and a lot of things preserved here give you a good idea of how people at that time lived. The beauty of this place lies in its serenity and planning, at that time and age. Must visit.

Hello! After visiting reading all the good review about Phaselis here on tripadvisor I decided to give it a try (since I live at a 1hr drive distance). When I arrived at phaselis I was stunned by the beauty of the nature, and actually this is what kept happening the whole time I was at phaselis. The ruins are okay, not really well preserved. If you have visited Greek ruins on the Greek Island or the main land you wont be impressed but I can really recommend you going here since the price is really good. Also I could really recommend going up to the Theatre because the view over there is gorgeous!I think you can enjoy a good day over there, it is really relaxing, the nature, once again, is stunning! Don't forget your bathing suit because there is a really nice mountain surrounded beach, you will love it!We had to pay 10TL per person which is the equivalent of 3 Euros and you can just drive in the Park with your car.

Had a great time here and enjoyed the ruins. It was neat to be in a place with such history. I would recommend

Turkey has a lot of ancient greek and roman cities- it's amazing, but to be honest we have visited enough of them to get really impressed of it. We came to Phaselis to spend a day off, didn't expect much but somehow have got this "wow" impression. I really loved the ruins, it's all between high trees! And the beaches were so cozy, families were spending all day having a picnics around the trees in the shades... really different cozy beaches compared to Antalya's others where you can't really feel privacy or comfortability :)

Stunning beach and mountain scenery with historical ruins too. A location to spend time enjoying the surroundings.

I rode here on my mountain bike from my Hotel in Kiris, it is only about 6 miles away, or around 10 miles from Kemer. You can get a Dolmus to the top of the road, but it 1.25 miles from the road to the beach so bear that in mind and is uphill all the way back!Entrance is 10 Lira (£2.90). There is a small cafe at the site and some 'proper' toilets. It is a lot more compact than Olympos (see my review of that) and in the main a lot better preserved and easier to get around. Once you have seen the sites, the old road, baths and Amphitheater you can relax at any one of the three beaches. A great place to spend a relaxing afternoon.

We made our own way to Phaselis with no problems.Great picture opportunities, plenty to see.3 great beaches 2 with shale and pebbles 1 sand with a gentle sloping beach, look for the little fish swimming around your feet in the clear water, then finish off your day with a snack and a beer, before the gentle walk back to get the bus back to your hotel.Andy & Jane

Phaselis is only a few kilometres from Tekirova and easily reached by bus. It is a little further from Kemer, but not much. It is an ancient monument and in a National Park . The entrance fee is 10 Turkish Lira. It is very interesting and has a lovely quiet bay in which to swim or sunbathe.

Once can see why Alexander the Great came here and decided to stay for a while before marking on. The pine scented location by the bay is the location of Greek and Roman ruins by the seaside. The amphitheatre is in fairly good condition and with a view of the hills that surround it. The place is overrun by Russian tourists but the beach is quite nice apart from the tourist boats with their loud music. There is a small shop, restaurant and toilets next to the aqueduct.

A totally unspoilt historic site. If this was anywhere else in Europe it would be a real hit. Surrounded by pine woods and a lovely bay ideal for a picnic. Can be reached by boat or taxi.
