The place is big. It has a large number of ruins. Some of them in quite good shape. We saw only about half to 70% of it. Apprently it was quite a large establishment. There is a huge crater like hole / cavity. It is quite a fall. There are no safety barriers. So if you are with kids then please be very very careful. It is possible to go down into the crater a bit and we did it. There is a bas relief on one of the crater walls. You can wander around by yourself. Entry fee is possibly TL 3 only. My personal opinion is that it is good for about half an hour to an hour maximum. This is because there are other antique ruins further down the road that are in better shape and more beautiful. Everything is out in the open. Hence if the weather is hot then it will be quite a trek. The vehicles reach right till the first building but then it is all on foot. Also if it starts raining then there is no place to take cover. There are hardly any facilities at the location - maybe a toilet and thats it. No one is around. You will be left to yourself pretty much. This place does not seem to be on the regular tourist trail.

One of the historical place in Mersin,But I advice you on spring or autumn months for visiting.summer time is very hot and maybe afternoon at summer for better weather conditions.

Great to visit in spring with the kids. Open air, lots of ruins and nooks and crannies to investigate.

very cheap to visit, ruins in good shape, the crowds are few. kiz kalesi is very close and a good place to stay. Hantur hotel is great at kiz kalesi, right on the beach, but it has no pool, but service is great and rooms clean.

Mersin'in Erdemli ilçesinde bulunan Kanlı Divane Ören yeri adını, ortasında 100-150 metre çapında 60-70 metre derinliğinde çukura suçluların vahşi hayvanlara atılmasından aldığı rivayet edilmektedir. Giriş 5,00 TL ve müzekart geçmektedir. (Mayıs 2014)

Легко добраться самому. Проехать на долмуше 4.5 км и дальше от поворота пешком 3 км. Площадь руин обширная. На месте можно купить брошюры в том числе и на Русском языке.

Muhteşem bir doğal güzelliğin, derin, kızıl bir obruğun etrafına konumlandırılmış, harika bir antik şehir. Kentle ilgili anlatılan efsaneler ise tüyler ürpertici. Mersin'de görülmesi gereken yerlerden biri.

İnanılmaz etkileyici bir atmosfere sahip. Kesinlikle görmeniz gereken bir nokta. Ayrıca her yıl Mersin Büyükşehir Belediyesi (Eylül-Ekim ayları) burada konserler düzenlemekte (Klasik yada senfoni türü). Atmosfer ve yapılar çok iyi ayrıca rehber hizmeti de bulunmakta. Giriş çok ucuz ve içeri de yöreye özgü aperatif yemekler bulunmakta. Otopark mevcut. Kesinlikle gezmenizi tavsiye ederim. Hatta konserleri kaçırmayın derim.

Mersine iş için günübirlik gitmiştik. Uçağımıza vakit vardı ve etrafı gezelim dedik. Arabayla merkeze 1 saat uzaklıktaki Kızkalesi'ne giderken yol üzerinde "Kanlıdivane" tabelasını görüp saptık. İyi ki de sapmışız. Büyüleyici bir yer. Ürkütücü bir çukur ve çukurun içinde ağaçlar, mağaralar var. Çukurun etrafı boyunca çeşitlli yapılar var MÖ ki yıllara ait. Fazla ziyaretçi yoktu gittiğimizde. Bence daha fazla tanıtımı yapılmalı. Mutlaka görmelisiniz, şiddetle tavsiye ederim.
