Hafnarfjall (844) is steep mountain which is located about 5 km from Borgarnes (its on the right side just when coming from Reykjavik, just before the road gets down towards the bridge). Be aware this is one of the most windy places in Iceland so unless there is little to no wind the hiking on the top might be dangerous. The hike starts here (64.515926, -21.884802) where you can leave your car. Fist you will follow the stream and then the path turn right to the ridge which you can follow all the way up. The path is not well marked and sometimes you might feel like there is none, but don't worry if you follow the edge (keep the distance) you will not get lost. The vistas on the way up are amazing and they give you great bird eye perspective. In last third of the climb the path divides in 2. One is following the ridge (edge) while second aims left more in to saddle in between 2 peeks. You can use both, the second one is better if the conditions are not perfect and especially on the way down, just go to saddle and them turn right to the top. While the hike is rather short by distance it can take between 2-3 hours to get up and down due to steep terrain. Достаточно красивая гора, Специально ехать не имеет смысла, ну а если ехать через Борганес на юг, то как раз вы ее увидите во всей красе.
