The swimming pool in Húsafell is something that us locals from the area know quite well. Húsafell is a popular camping ground and for the longest time, during summers, families have gone there to pass the weekend or more. Personally I have been going to this swimming pool since I was a young boy. In that time it only had little wooden huts with showers which in that time was perfect. Now things have slightly changed but the hot tubs, swimming pools and the little slide have remained almost just as I remember them. The water comes from geothermal springs nearby and there is something soothing about it. I feel re-energized, moisturized, calmed and tranquil after every visit to the Húsafell swimming pools.Definitively a must-visit when visiting the Borgarfjörður area!

Бассейн находится в городе Borgarnes - примерно в часе езды от Рейкьявика. Особенно рекомендую в хорошую солнечную погоду. Из бассейна открывается прекрасный вид на горы!
