This is one of my favourite museums from around the world. It's uniquely dedicated to Ukrainian handicrafts, the pysanka eggs in particular (it's the shape of the museum!). I love the intricacy of the designs, I could spend hours looking at the fine shapes and vibrant colours on the eggs. It's a great place for anyone who values art and handicrafts. If you're in the area already, it's a must-visit - definitely a more memorable experience than some of the large major museums I've been to.

This museum is totally dedicated to "pysanka" eggs which is a big part of Ukrainian culture. It has eggs from all over the world. Also there's a huge egg monument at entrance, one of the very few in the world. It will be interesting for people who wish to discover more about Ukrainian culture.

The museum has over 3000 eggs. One thousand eggs are on display. It also have a small gift shop. It is basically two room of exhibits.

Musuem is only small, but it is unique. They have a pretty large collection of decorated eggs, some from different countries. The shape of the building is appealing from the ourside.

We spent a little while in the Pysanka Museum during our stay in Kolomyya.The place is small and the tour didn't take very long, but the collection of Easter eggs and other local customs was relatively nice.Nothing amazing, but worth the cheap entrance fee.

The displays were beautiful, but unless you have a real interest in the art of the eggs , its hard to appreciate that many Pysanky eggs. That being said, I'm glad I visited.

Loved the psyanka museum. We had a great tour guide showing us around. I make them myself. So just being there I wanted a kiska and wanted to start writing:). Its a must see if you go to Ukraine. Like everywhere in Ukraine you have to pay extra to take pictures. so expect it.

Большая коллекция писанок со всех регионов Украины, авторские работы, историческая информация.Однако сам музей небольшой и самостоятельно не может оправдать дорогу с целью посещения длиннее 25-30 км.

Очень хороший музей для ознакомления с культурой и традициями. Экспозиция небольшая, но интересная, собраны коллекции как отдельных писанкарок, так и сборные по регионам Украины. Хорошо прослеживается стиль, цветовая гамма каждого художника. У каждой витрины есть подпись на украинском и английском языках. Вход платный взрослый - 15 грн., детский - 5 грн. (январь 2015 г.). Есть лавка сувениров, к стати дешевле чем в магазинах города.

El museo es fascinante para todo aquel que le interese la cultura de Ucrania y sus tradiciones. En especial la Pascua, ya que el museo cuenta con las tradicionales "pysanky", una artesanía característica de la época.
