We stopped at Casarena as part of a wine tour we were on. This was the last stop for us and an excellent ending to a fabulous day. We were introduced to their line of wines and was pleased to find out that some of their wines was actually available in Canada. We were then taken upstairs to a room with a breathtaking view of the vineyards, where we sampled a flight of very delicious wines, with one white and the remaining red. Afterwards we had a bit of fun with a game of trying to identify different aroma notes that are present in different kinds of wine. Everyone had a great time. The winery is beautiful and is one I would definitely go back to to experience more of what they have to offer. We also loved their motto for the day.... Wine is like duct tape, it fixes everything

My husband and I visited Casarena on 4th March 2015. This was our second winery for the day. We were greeted by a very friendly guide, Florencia and a chilled glass of Chardonnay. We have been fortunate enough to be on a few other wine tours however this was by far the best thus far. Florencia was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. This was the first time we had a chance to taste wine from the steel tanks. We also had a chance to taste a 2015 rose that was only in the tank for 2 days. We always taste the end product so it was a really good experience to have a chance to taste from the tanks.Apart from the great wine tour, we had the option to either pay 100 pesos for the wine tour per person or buy 2 bottles of wine. We obviously chose the latter and we very happy with the suggestion from Florencia. We would recommend this winery as a must in Mendoza and Florencia as a guide. She is studying towards her sommelier exam and is very fluent in English. We wish her all the best in her upcoming exams and hope she gets a chance to visit south africa and sample some great pinotage.

This winery is the creation of a very enterprising and visionary man who turned dreams into reality in a very short time. Casarena wines may not rival some of the "big boys" in volume, but they make up for it in superb quality. They achieved high ratings in Wine Spectator and by Robert Parker in a very short time. Their reds, whether Malbec, Cabernet Franc or Sauvignon are out of this world.Lunch at Casarena's restaurant is an experience not to be missed. Six wines with six excellent food pairings very cleverly crafted. A unique and memorable experience.

We stopped for lunch at the Casarena Bodega on our tour with Bus Vitivinicola and we were amazed with the meal we were served ! Everything was perfect : the food , the selection of wines (6) , the service , the settings , the environment and the people we shared our meal with ! Definitly one of our best meal ever !

Excellent. Really excellent. From the superbly crafted food and wine pairings to the views, service, attention to detail, and overall feeling of being very very welcome. I can not recommend this winery enough. Delicious pork and red blend pairing will stay in the memory for a long time. One of the best cuts of steak I have had anywhere, paired with an award winning Malbec. Light sparkling wines and palate cleaners to begin and end. And even a decent Chardonnay! After ten years of touring the wineries of Mendoza this has to be the best place we have experienced. Thank you Casarena.

We had a great time touring this beautiful property and trying great wines with our outstanding host for the day, Marina! We visited a handful of wineries in the region but enjoyed this one and especially Marina the most! Can't wait to come back next summer!

We came here for the 6 course lunch with wine tastings. Every dish was incredible, unique and cooked to perfection. They even adapted one of the courses for me as I do not eat pork, and served me incredible beef instead. Each dish is paired perfectly with a delicious wine. The restaurant offers beautiful views, overlooking the Casarena vineyard. The chef, Lucas, came out several times to chat with us and explain the dishes. We've eaten in some great Argentinian restaurants recently, and this without a doubt was one of the best. Highly recommended!

Very nice Tour! The people were very friendly and professional. We took the guided tour through the vineyard in combination with a short visit in the Bodega with the wine maker, which was very funny. We had the opportunity to taste a lot of musts (wines in different stages of developing) which was a very interesting experience. At the end we had a wine probe at choice and the opportunity to taste as well a cider. The wines were for our eyes open, and we had the patience to wait a little that they will get some air. There were excellent, and still developing in the taste with taking more air. Then we had the opportunity to taste the new Casarena Sinlge DNA Cabernet Sauvignon, a premium wine which was still not on the market. I also find it very nice, that they produce a wine which you can only buy in the bodega as a recompense for coming there!Next time we will try the lunch!

The staff was fluent in English and provided a very useful wine tasting chart to go with the wine pairings, in a clean beautiful room overlooking the vineyard. A great experience. Part of an awesome day with Wine and Trout tours from Mendoza.

We went to the winery at lunch time and they told us we could have lunch with wine pairings. We decided this would be good. We had 6 courses with 6 different wines. Each was explained and they made sure we liked them. The main course was a very tender and flavorful steak. I would love to go back anytime.
