O liked the place but get ready for a bit of the smell of flamingo's poop ... Generally they are too far for you to make sense of them... You may need a good photographic equipment...

There is an informative guided walk across the salt flat explaining the ecosystem. The walk ends with great photo opportunities of the flamingos, other water birds and cloud reflections in the lake. Our tour end with drinks and snacks. There is a small entrance fee. This tour can be done by those in hire cars. Recommended !

An amazing venue in the vast salt flats area if rather windy the evening we visited. The flamingoes were a delight but rather difficult to photograph as they were eating all the time!

      - It is worth the long drive from San Pedro- There were many flamingos and other birds- Interesting landscape with a structure of the salt different from Salar de Uyuni

We have been to this Laguna on our third day in San Pedro because on the Lonely Planet guide said there were many flamingos but as we had already been warned there aren't that many, probably also due to the season. The landscape is impressive but after having seen other lagunas such as Miscanti, Minique and Cejar we didn't appreciated as much

First tour upon arrival in San Pedro. Just was not much to see , not sure what the fuss was about . Told this was a place to see the 3 type of flamingos but only saw a few of the standard pink variety . The bathroom facilities at this and the other parks is one step a port- a- potty and 2 stalls for the vast tour bus crowd guarantees a line. Not worth the admission price.

Sunset with mountains, orange water and flamingo's... Probably the most intense and beautiful experience of my life. It was really really cold, even with winter coat, hat and scarf, gloves are recommended.

The kids enjoyed this place a lot. They were able to see a lot of lizards, small birds, and of course flamingoes. Very well organized, and good sanitary facilities.

Loved the close-ups of the flamingos, the information stations, and there were even some tables so we could eat some lunch. No shade though!! Bring your hat and water bottle! My favourite thing was taking off my shoes to walk the salt trail - so relaxing!

70Km drive from San Pedro De Atacama and you come so close to Flamingos in their habitat..What a contrast to the White salt and the blue lake to have these pinkish birds here..Take plenty of water with you as it can be very hot and May be sun factor 30 plus cream.
