Cheap and good. A great way to spend the night in Bogota. Tickets are easy to get on line or at the door.

We attended a performance where the first part was a concert for piano and orchestra. After intermission only the orchestra performed. Both were very well received. Bogotanos are a sophisticated audience. They know not to clap between movements. They really liked both performances and gave the orchestra a standing ovation.

Great concert surrounded by magical musicians in a place with good hall sound, the Jorge Eliécer Gaitán theatre. Only thing I didn't understand is that staff bother you when taking cellphone pictures, even without flash.

The Orquesta Sinfonica de Bogota assembles classically trained musicians who have achieved European standadards of the highest standards as far as interpretation of Barroque to 20th Century American Classics!!!They play at amazing Auditioriums at universities campus very easy to reach by public transport and family friendly hours too!!!Enjoy the best sounds at a fraction of a price one would have to pay to hear excellent music in any industrilised country !!!All the best to such an amazing ensemble of musicians !!!
