What a nice surprise to find this great set of collections in a beautiful setup. Don't miss it during your visit to Bogota

This museum is part of the complex that includes the Botero museum. They are all worth the trip to town to see the art. The range of art is impressive; the quality even more so. The presentation is first class. And it is free.Be sure to check the special exhibit area. A very contemporary artist was on display when I visited.

This museum is located in a wonderful old colonial building in the Candelaria -- a cool area of the city. It has two interior courtyards and a cafe with fantastic mint lemonade and good coffee. They have a program of contemporary loaned work and works from their collection on view at all times. it is absolutely worth a visit as there are great examples of pieces by Leon Ferrari and Wilfredo Lam. Though personally not a Botero fan myself, there is a whole section of his work including early works I was interested to see and he has given his collection, including a stunning Klimt drawing to the Museo. And there are other beautiful things such a early photography, some retablos, and great Caro pieces. A must see.

Bem organizado e localizado junto a vários por outros pontos de interesse da cidade, o museu merece a visita. O acervo é muito interessante. Recomendo!

No me resultó muy atractivo, es interesante pero la verdad es que si hay cosas mejores para hacer no lo recorras... es aburrido y está con pocas cosas..
