The Golinias have been taking care of the shelter for more than 20 years, with the help of a few volunteers (with all kind of skills) they've dedicated their lives to the animals. All my respect to these people, they are very passionate about what they're doing for the wildlife. If you want to come as close as you can get with some of nature's most majestic birds there's a facility especially build for the eagles...Here are some of the species you can encounter at the shelter: Owls, deer, ducks, grouse, cats, hawk and bald eagles and probably a variety of others.I would recommed to call before you go to schedule an appointment and remember that this shelther needs your donation in order to continue their mission.By the way 80% of the animals will be released back in the wild after their recovery that's what i call love, care ,commitment and dedication!I will always remember the few hours i've spent with Mrs.Golinia, she has some of the most intersting stories i have ever heard.Hope to see you all again.Bring the kids and don't forget your camera...
