After visiting this museum, I was surprised that no one had reviewed it yet. The museum/depot is located in the downtown area, down the hill from a casino, The two story building was moved from a site about 40 miles east of Prince Rupert. It presents a vision to give Canada access for trade to the Pacific, north of Vancouver at the turn of last century. This led to the beginning of Prince Rupert, Many artifacts and stories relating to life at these depots, which were frequently the only civillization for some very remote places. Museum presents with pictures, artifacts, and stories what this period in Canadian history was like. I feel that kids would enjoy visiting this site. Park that it;s situated in has nice view of river traffic.
