When BC became a province, the Minister of Agriculture was the first appointed Minister. This museum has received materials from various UBC professors and has grown over the years. It's got alot of very important material but due to lack of funding it struggles to interpret and conserve the collection properly.It is really the only agriculture museum in the province. Thank goodness for the dedicated volunteers and Board who keep it open. Thanks!

I have never seen so many things on display in a museum! It is jammed pack with everything from farm machinery to household items and there is also a crop-spraying airplane hanging up. It may need a few extra information boards in places but it is still a really interesting place with friendly staff. Definitely recommended and not to be missed if in town.

It is close to the historical sight so why not go for a look. It is a reasonable price and its great to see all the old machinary. The staff is so friendly and eager to show you how some of the equipment work. We saw a demonsteation on how the really old egg separator and fruit sorter worked. It was very interesting...my kids and us mid 40 were very impressed. It is interesting to see how or what types of machinary were used throughout history and how much it involved now...and to think how much more it will change when my kids grow up. A must see. My daughter and I went through it faster then my husband , son and his brother, but we were still impress with it all. So much to see. Hoping it keeps going. I would come back again in a few years

Excellent Museum! Located right beside the Old Fort Langley. A lot of information and fun! Several displays and great in number. I loved it and will return again!

I like a museum with thousands of items on display. They have done a great job restoring a lot of old farm machines and buggies. Although there isn't much in the form of interpretive displays, just the shear volume of items is something to behold.

Extremely interesting ! The outside of the facility was quiet and nondescript. Once we entered the rustic building we were truly amazed at the size of the facility. The amount of farm machinery, agricultural hardware and early farm living contraptions was boggling. An delightful afternoon that will require many trips back.
