Hired clubs and played two rounds with my son. We had to make up a four on both occasions and the folk we met were great fun. Course in good shape and clubhouse was excellent

Had a pleasant breakfast on the deck overlooking golfers practise their putts. Enjoyable and reasonably priced. Very good service.

This course is not really hard if you play smart and strategically. If you just grip it and rip you're going to get in a lot of trouble. The scenery is great along the river. Worth the try.

My favourite course in Waterloo Region. Exceptional setting for this links style course. The views are beautiful so bring your camera. Take a cart as it's quite a trek.

Four of us played the course two days after the LPGA. What fun, pretending we were on th circuit. The course was in great shape. I don't know how they do it!. For us, who are the once a week golfer it is a long course but so pretty. In fact I could just drive around in my cart. You will need one of those. If you are in the K-W area and have an opportunity to play, Grey Silo is a must!

This challenging and beautiful riverside course offers great turf and outstanding pin placement on well manicured greens.

This course is a bit more intimidating the first time you play it than it really is. ONce you see where your tee shot lands, you realize there's more room there than it looks like from the tee. Still a challenging course and you'll lose some balls due to the "environmental" areas that are off-limits.It's a bit of walk between 1 and 2 and 17/18, so carts are a good idea. Great layout though and a good value. Plus you can play the course you see on TV during the Manulife Classic LPGA event.

We go their when we think we can have a good game as it's very challenging and if you can't walk far (as it's very spread out) you should rent a cart. They held the LPGA their in July and will again next Summer. Beautiful course.

What more can be said except this - 2 LPGA Championships on this course and each year it gets better! Everyone from the lady PGA pro's to those who watch the championship and the average golfer golf who wants to play on this course has a wonderful time. Expect open fairways, quick greens and some challenging shot making. Yes there are more demanding course but for the dollar you can expect a good time especially if you bring your other golf buddies. For the average golfer it can be a long walk on the course on hot day so a cart rental maybe the best way to enjoy the course. Green fees are higher than area courses, but expect this from a course that holds a major championship.A suggestion for those who wish to really make a weekend vacation of the course and area would be to wait until next July of 2014. The reason being this is the last year that the RCGA will be holding the ladies Canadian championship on the course. You can stay and watch the championship for the weekend, do the Waterloo Farmer"s Country market on a Saturday morning, tournament late morning and all afternoon along with all of Sunday, and in the evening on Friday or Saturday drive 40 to 45 minutes down Hwy 8 to Stratford to see some very good live theatre. Guys, this is really good weekend to spoil your better half and treat her right.Just another quick note if Trip Advisor will allow this addition- come back the following weekend for the Waterloo Jazz Uptown Jazz Festival. For those with a light wallet the admission is free, yup that's right free! Saturday night has had many top line performers from Holly Cole, Manteca and this year Matt Dusk returned and played a 90 minute set with no intermission plus 2 encore performances. Easily a $150 ticket in Toronto or Vegas.David CurkoCuba Guy

Home to annual lpga event. Try and play at twilight for better value. Usually slow pace of play. Always in pretty decent shape!
