We love the Art Centre, our daughter goes for the PA day camps they have as well as some in the summer. She LOVES it!! The staff are always very friendly, great pieces to look at and always something new.

amazing displays of local artists, with an obviously robust board supporting anything local. Many of the artists also had items for sale - which allowed you to take home a little piece from your trip

If you haven't been to the Norfolk Arts Centre in a while, you won't know what you are missing. Local artist exhibits coupled with prestigious artists from across Canada enjoy the historical rooms and halls. Children's summer programs and show casing young artists from our school board encourages all ages to experience the arts now and create a connection for their future. A variety of Adult art classes are held throughout the year. Whether it is the SoupArt Bowls or the Made in Norfolk Show and Sale, local artisans are showcased and their products are sold. The Art Centre also displays important Collection legacy pieces. Soon the Art Centre will have access to the entire building to showcase even larger exhibits and more of the Collection. The future is bright for the Norfolk Arts Centre, so take the time to visit, enjoy and learn about the arts in your own back yard.

Guitars and fine art make might make for unusual company in one of Norfolk's oldest historical residences - Lynnwood. This summer visitors can try out a drop format drawing and painting class and actually create on-site with materials supplied. Back to guitars for a minute, if you return frequently to Norfolk, then you will want to come back on Sept 27th for the jam session led by Brian J. LaPlante, local guitar maker extraordinaire. Own a LaPlante model? Then bring it back to celebrate Culture Days. We hear that people LOVE our programs and exhibitions!

There used to be an arts centre, called Lynnwood, that had a vibrant, if rural, existence at this site, until the place went to bed with the county government in a last-ditch attempt to stay alive. Now it's a lacklustre municipal office with some display walls that show what? Who cares? No one goes.
