been twice and going back for a third love this place . people ,resort ,and beaches are fantastic . the food is good but like everyone says your in Cuba and they do their best. you won't starve and you have the other two melia you can go for dinner or spend the days there. if you want a more excitement because this resort is quite just how we like it

The hotel is great. The team is wonderful. The service is perfect. E.g. I did not bring a mask and fins but I was offered to use the equipment from the life guard only vs, small tip of my choice.The general manager is superb. Rooms are nice clean and great pillows! First time I slept well in Cuba.The only poor side is the food. It is all inclusive but the food is awful in European standard. The chef is Spanish but he needs to return to basic. Instead of having buffet for 118 rooms I suggest having all a-cart and have beet quality and less waste. Cuba has wonderful and great quality fruits and vegi, but not a sign of it in the hotel. It is pitty as the hotel is in a great spot great beach, great pool great stuff…One positive is the BBQ near the pool. I wish it was open in the evening.In General we had great time – I lost 1. Kg in 4 days!

I indulged in a therapeutic massage as well as a Turkish Massage. The Turkish massage was very nice with the different scents and the use of different fabrics which was nice for a change. I preferred the therapeutic massage. I also had the male masseuse that was mentioned in a previous review. I found him to be quite professional. There were times while stretching that I felt exposed but it didn't creep me out. I enjoyed both spa experiences.

This was our sixth trip to Cuba and the first to this resort. It is first class. It is exceptionally clean. The staff are very friendly and the manager is hands on and visible and approachable. It's a small resort so nothing is far away. It's all adult so no screaming children. It's quiet and if you want a place to relax this is it. The food selection was excellent and preparation and presentation were great. The butlers tend to your every wish. Staff in general will do everything they can to accomodate you.Being a small resort, (105) rooms there are never any lineups.This is one of the few resorts where the pictures you see online actually reflect what is there.We met a lot of great people from all over Canada.We'll definately be back next year. One suggestion, to avoid the long bus ride from the airport which stops at various resorts, take a cab. It costs 70 pesos plus tip but gets you there in half the time and it's actually a relaxing ride.

I had a "rum massage" at the Melia Buenavista Resort and "Spa" on Christmas Day 2012. It was like being groped by a wino.When massaging the backs of my legs, the male 50-something masseuse, who barely spoke English, pulled the sheet up a little too roughly, left it a little too loose and exposed too much of the back of each leg for my liking. As he worked at the top of my thigh his hand slipped between my legs way too often for my comfort level.When I turned onto my back, he covered my eyes with a folded towel. I was uncomfortable and removed it. He massaged my stomach (my chest and legs were covered) which I've never had done because it is considered rather personal. As he worked on my shoulders, his hand slipped under the sheet, between my breasts at least once. All the while, his big hairy arm kept brushing against my chin.Not relaxing. I have complained formally to the Melia-Sol hotel chain (January 25, 2013) because I continue to feel creeped out, indeed violated. No Feliz Navidad here.My advice: always ask the spa manager what training each masseuse has. Better yet, grab some run and enjoy the beach. Linda, Toronto, ON

Muy lindo hotel en cayo santa maria. El servicio es excelente y las habitaciones son muy confortables. Recomiendo pasar por la heladeria a media tarde para disfrutar de un rico helado. Todas las noches tenes un buffet diferente y los restaurants con reserva son muy recomendables. No tuve suerte con la playa ya que habia frente frio, por mi experiencia en el caribe, tenes mejores posibilidades de buen tiempo durante los meses de abril y mayo. El agua de la pileta estaba realmente muy fria, pero el hotel y su servicio es muy bueno. Le regale a mi mujer un servicio en el spa aguas claras y fue la mejor inversion de todas las vacaciones.

Muy buen hotel. Atención 5 estrellas, el personal siempre dispuesto, siempre sonriente... de hecho lo mejor de todos los hoteles que estuve en este viaje a Cuba, fue la amabilidad y el buen trato de todos los funcionarios.El hotel, tal vez necesite más mantenimiento y embellecimiento de jardines y un poco mas de iluminacion, todo lo demás perfecto. Recomendado.

Siamo stati trattati molto bene ed il nostro maggiordomo era molto disponibile e gentile. La stanza era pulita e confortevole con vasca idromassaggio, salotto e vista mare. È un vero all inclusive e nei ristoranti alla carte si mangia di qualità con porzioni assennate per gli standard italiani. Cucina internazionale di buon livello. Spiaggia curatissima e mare stupendo. Attenzione solo ai mosquitos che possono rovinarvi la vacanza.

Acabo de leer una opinión aquí que respeto, pero mi opinión personal es totalmente opuesta. En primer lugar su nombre Aguas Claras, coincide con la transparencia y profesionalismo de los 3 maravillosos masajistas que allí trabajan, a mi me tocó una de las jovenes, super profesionales y respetuosos como todas las personas que trabajan en este paraíso. La toalla en la cara, es parte de la relajación que requiere este tipo de masaje, con aceites orientales, inciensos y música y ambiente apropiados para que yo en mi caso me quedara rendida que te tocan una campanita suave para despertar. Despues te acuestan en una hamaca y te brindan un agua de guayaba, super refrescante. Yo recomiendo a todo el mundo que no se vaya de alli sin darse uno al menos. Muchas gracias a todos por las atenciones
