Been there with the group of collegues. The tour was guided by the general manager of Megerian carpets, a very much educated and knowledgable person. We were introduced to carpet making process, as well as restoration and coloring. They got all kind and styles pf carpets, made in factory or imported. You can by a carpet or order one right in tje factory.

One of the wonderful places, that every person must visit in Yerevan being in Armenia. Huge factory and showroom of handmade rugs and carpets, where you can see all the production and also buy cheap rugs and carpets by factory prices, enjoy folk art traditional music, dances girls with traditional costumes and in the end enjoy very tasty Armenian national food just in the factory. All together is amazing tour to the factory for free. Just visit and enjoy. I highly recommend this place to every tourist who comes to Armenia.

I do believe that every carpet has its own soul, story and even mystery. And you will have a chance to make sure in it in this marvelous place. I`d like to tell all the beautiful legends about Armenian carpets and their philosophy but this is the very case when seeing is believing! So welcome to Armenia, welcome to a fairytale!

Ковры конечно сногсшибательны, дороги и величественны! Любопытно узнать как они делаются, но место конечно на любителя! Если особо не интересуетесь искусством ковероплетения, то специально идти не стоит, если случайно набредете, гуляя по городу, то можно заглянуть!

Увлеченные сотрудники музея рассказали о создании ковров, о натуральных красителях, показали технологию изготовления. Ковры восхитительны!

Можно придти сюда просто за покупкой великолепного ( и очень дорогого!) ковра, а можно просто с познавательной целью - посмотреть как эти ковры делают (красят нити, ткут, стригут, отделывают. И настоятельно рекомендую посмотреть антикварные ковры и ковры из личной коллекции Мегерянов. В общем сходить стоит!
