During our stay the church and the museum were closed. We only could check the facade and garden around it. The church is very small. But lovely old architecture, very well preserved and beautiful views around.

The church is really neat and has some nice paintings and impressive altars. I did not visit the Museum, but the Church is certainly worth a stop.

Worth the visit to see a bit of the culture of Orosi. Loverly grounds and always plently of locals neay by. A very simple walk from just about any where in the Orosi town centre. Very easy access

This is a truly beautiful little church. I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. The grounds are also very lovely, so take a few minutes to smell the hydrangeas. The small museum isn't all that impressive, but they try. Sadly, there is a huge new modern monstrosity of a church right next to it. I consider that a cardinal sin in the area of attractive historical buildings. Holy Week in Orosi is an experience worth the trip. The streets are clogged with Roman soldiers, Virgins, a huge cross, etc. On Good Friday the body is carried around town on an open litter with hundreds of the faithful.

It is a beautiful old church. The museum is very interesting so I recommend it. It explains a lot of Orosi`s past.

The church was one of the first built by the Spaniards who arrived in CR in the 1740s. It is a beautiful small church with beautiful paintings and a nice altar. I had only one issue, I wanted to do the tour but the person in charge of opening opened ten minutes late and went back into the church and to a room next to the altar. When we approached her, she was busy feeling up on a man who I am guessing was her boyfriend. We asked her about the tour and she said it would be a few minutes. We left and were honestly too embarrassed to stay.

I didn't do the tour, but I looked around the church and its grounds. It was built in 1745 and is a cute little colonial church worth checking out. Adds to the charm and historic appeal of Orosi. There is a large, colorful mural on the grounds that depicts Orosi people harvesting their crop.

We happened to visit during a wedding which was interesting to see. It looked and felt a lot like a US wedding. This is a modest, local, Costa Rican church but with history back to the 1700's. There is a small museum attached ($1 fee) which has some good area history, art, clothing articles, and furniture.Worth 30-60 minutes to take a pass through both the church and museum if you are in the area.If this review is helpful then please indicate so below.
