We were three persons, 2 adults and our daughter of 9 years old, in a 4 day 3 night Safari (Tsavo East - Zomeni Lion Hill Lodge, Tsavo West - Ngulia Safari Lodge and Amboseli - Sentrim Amboseli Camp). We spoke with Steve on the internet about the safari program and we arrived at the hotel in Diani Beach we met with him to determine the price and time we go on safari. Next day we left the hotel at 5 in the morning. In those 4 days we saw a lot of animals, 4 of The Big Five (we didnt see the rhino) thanks to our driver, Josef, who was wonderful. Booking through Steve & Richard was a very good idea! Many thanks Steve and Josef for this experience that we will never forget. I recommend this company for best value & experience.

We had a honeymoon safari in early Jun-14. We chose the 3 days 2 nights safari to Tsavo East and West, contacted Steve by e-mail and arranged the safari from the UK. Steve was very trustworthy and meet us in our hotel in Mombasa as agreed, he explained to us all the necessary things and even when we changed hotels from Mombasa to Diani he agreed to that without any problem. Our guide Joseph was an excellent guide, with a eyesight of a hawk, the secret apparently is that he eats a lot of raw carrots! He was very funny, informative, and made our safari very special. With him we saw lots of animals, 4 out of the big 5, (rhino was on holidays that week), but we had lots of "close" encounters with lionesses, leopards, elephants, giraffes and many others. The hotels chosen by Steve were very nice, no frills but with excellent views and lots of animals could be seen from the hotels, Lions hill in Tsavo East has fantastic views which make you think like Simba in the Lion's King, hotel is located in a hill and oversees lots of extension of the park, Ngulia in Tsavo West has pools of waters and you can see elephants monkeys, antelopes and many other animals drinking and resting. Safari van was comfortable, and they had useful things, such as binoculars, and we felt safe in Joseph's experts hands to go to the national parks from Mombasa among the hectic Kenyan traffic. Overall an unforgettable experience, we were completely delighted with the safari!

Booked the 4 day 3 night Safari (Tsavo East, West and Amboselli) trough the internet.Didn't regret it for a minute. Excellent service. Lodges were fantastic. The guide they arranged for us was wonderfull. Great experience!

HiJust arrived back to Sweden from a 14 day trip to Mombasa. We booked the safari tour, half day trip to Mombasa, trip to coral reefs and the dolphine tour through Steve and Richards. It worked out very well.They responded to our questions very quick and sent us a guide/driver on the safari tour that was excellent, name Joseph. Even the other trips were executed very good. Hi - we have just returned from our two week holiday in Mombasa - we booked with Steve & Richard online before we went and this proved to be the best decision EVER! we did a 3 day two night safari at Tsavo East staying at Ashnil Lodge which is fantastic and then onto Tsavo West staying at Saltlick - booking through Steve & Richard was soooo easy and they were a delight to deal with - they rang us when we were there and were very prompt and efficient. We loved our Safari and this made for a fab holiday - Our driver was Gutah and he was amazing - he knew exactly where to look and was constantly on the look out for ALL the wildlife - this mean't we were the first to get to any sightings and he would then let all the other driver's know where we were. I got the most amazing photographs and cannot wait to get these developed. Many thanks Steve & Richard for making this one of the best moments in our lives bar non! We had a realy good safari in Amboseli Park. Some gamedrives and many animals.It was a long road from Nairobi but it's worth it!We also had a good hotel in Amboseli that ''Steve & Richard Day Tours & Safaris'' reserved for us. Early in the morning we waked up with monkeys outside the window. It was funny.

In November 2013 wageni booked a safari again, taking my advise, with Steve from 'Steve and Richard'.Just as the wageni before , they had a marvelous time. They saw very many animals in Tsavo West and East. Steve is very punctual and alsways on time. WHich is an important factor in Kenya!He keeps his promises and he will always try and execute any special request you might have.ALso with a pick up-drop off airport request he's been very reliable.

We really had a great 4 day, 3 night safari Tsavo West – Amboseli – Tsavo East with Steve and Richard Safaris. Everything was well organised. Steve gave us an excellent service from the booking until the end of safari. We had wonderful guide and driver Joseph, who was very polite, friendly and professional. He knows all about the animals, birds and roads in savannah. He always wanted to do best for us. Absolutely lovely man! Our lodges were great. We stayed at Ngulia Lodge in Tsavo West, at Sentrim Amboseli and at Lion Hill Lodge in Tsavo East. The food was good, rooms were clean and cozy and the service of the staff was excellent.We paid a little extra for a private van which was good as we got more space and could decide on details. Our car was good and clean.We saw very many animals though there was a lot of green bush and high grass in the end of December. The highlight of the safari for us was seeing over 200 elephants coming towards us together in a row and finally surrounding us. It was a very absurd and expressive feeling!A truly memorable and enjoyable experience. Thanks Steve & Joseph for a great holiday!

We booked a 4-day, 3-night safari from Mombasa (Tsavo West, Amboseli, Tsavo East) with Steve and Richard. We did not book very far in advance and still everything was organised quite smoothly.We had a van just for the two of us. We one guide for the whole trip, Nathan, who had a good answer to all questions (posed lots of them) that we could think of. We really felt he studied hard to know all the details of the multitude of species we spotted. On top of that he was very punctual, which is, in our experience, not the standard in Kenya.Lodges were great with good food too and we saw loads of animals on our trip. We were lucky enough to spot four out of the big five on the first day already. Regrettably we did not spot any Rhinos on our trip but furthermore everything was perfect!
