The trail is quite steep but rewarding at the end with breathtaking views of Sainte Anne Island, the coast and the Morne Seychellois. We hired a local guide who gave us helpful insights on the various plants and trees along the way.

We went on the xmas day, a family of 4, with kids aged 13 and 9. We took a guide, even though this can even be done without one, it felt safer to have one. The trek was a good one, just the right kind of difficulty for the kids. We thoroughly enjoyed the view from the top, it was amazing. it would have taken 1 hr each way, but the descent seemed much easier. Should not try with very young children since there are very tricky places in the trail, where it is hard to proceed and the path might be slippery.

This trail is a good walk in the hills and gives you a great view over Victoria & Eden Island. It is quite steep in places and the entire trail takes about 45 minutes each way and is probably about 1000 vertical feet overall, so a reasonable level of fitness would be beneficial. Some parts of the trail aren't that easy to negotiate, due to rocks and trees, so small children or those not used to bush walks may find it a bit difficult. There is also an aluminium ladder fixed to the rocks near the top which you need to go up to get to the plateau.Best time to do this walk would be early morning, before the sun gets too hot - on the plateau there is no shelter from the sun. Take plenty of water and wear good shoes. The trail gets slippery when it has been raining.Parking is limited, just by the side of the road.

The trailhead sign was a bit difficult to see while driving. The trail was being monitored by two police officers, who assured me that it was safe to pass (I was hiking alone). The trail itself is fairly easy for the experienced hiker, but does have some steep inclines along the way. The flowers and vegetation are nice. Only a few harmless jungle dwellers were encountered. It took about 30 minutes for me to reach the end of the trail, but the view was obstructed by clouds and it quickly began to rain. I definitely recommend it if you will be hiking on a clear day.

Quick trail (up in 45 minutes), and it has one of the best views of Victoria, the runway, and Praslin (on a clear day). You can even see eye to eye with the palace of Mr Sheikh Khalifa.

This little trail is perfect if you want to take the chance to get away from the beach for half a day and enjoy Seychelles nature.On the way up we saw endemic snakes, birds, (carnivore) plants, you name it.The view on the top is spectacular overlooking Victoria and the surroundings.Did it with my 7 year old daughter, so also no problem to do with children.

This was a lovely walk - we were also fortunate enough to be accompanied by one of the friendly tourist police guys who pointed us in the right direction and helped us take pictures at the summit. The views from the top were just spectacular.

Went along with a photography group. Took just 30-45 minutes to walk up, and although it was typing with rain, it was actually perfect otherwise we would have found it too hot! Gorgeous views, but very slippery rocks at the top if its been raining!

Took a hike up to the top of Capiola - we got up in less than half an hour and the view is amazing. Well worth the walk!

The trail inst that far and not that much difficult. It takes approximately 45 minutes walk. when arriving at the top you can see a nice view, including: Eden Island, the Port, the International Airport, the Mont Fleuri cemetery, some few houses, buildings and etc.
