Nice atmosphere on Sundays, during church services, and a good way of feeling the spirit of the Congolese people

There isn't a lot to see in Brazzaville but, even if there was, Basilique St. Anne is worth a stop. The architecture on the inside and outside was very impressinve and it provided a nice sense of calm compared to the city outside. Very serene and large enough to spend a decent amount of time walking around.

I'm not Catholic but decided to walk to the Basilique early one morning. It was just a beautiful, quiet church. Choir practice was taking place outdoors and I listened for a while, strolled around the church, and went inside to meditate. Just couldn't figure out where to leave a donation.

Architecturally quite interesting, but it is not usually open. Best of luck seeing the inside. The exterior is worth a quick photo stop.

This is really lovely and distinctive to look at and the grounds are an oasis of calm. Unfortunately it was closed when we went and there are no certain hours.

This is a beautiful example of very well designed sacred architecture. Not often found even in Europe. Or maybe it's just so different from it's neighbourhood, that makes the effect. Still, quite inspiring. Inside looks much bigger than from outside.

Original, à voir ! L'architecture est originale, comme beaucoup d'églises africaines elle est très grande, très large, pouvant accueillir beaucoup de monde. J'ai aussi aimé la messe en plein air à coté.

bâtiment racontant une histoire pleine de poésie. Par contre la célébration de certain culte ce fait en langue locale ce qui est un peut désorientant pour nous touristes

Cette basilique doit son nom à la première fille du général Degaulle morte prématurément de maladie.Detruite pendant la guerre du 5 juin 1997, elle fut réhabilitée grâce à l'aide inestimable de l'état congolais. Le coût de cette réhabilitation est estimé à 1 milliard de FCFA.Les tuiles et la cloche ont été importées de France.

cette basilique est un endroit "phare" de brazzaville, elle est visible de nombreux endroits de brazza avec son toi couleur émeraude, détruit pendant la guerre , à été rénové ensuite par la famille présidentielle,endroit à voir.
