plenty of staff available for assistance and to enforce rules. Beach was very clean. Plenty of beach stuff, like umbrellas, available for rent. Very strick about alcohol, as in none allowed. No dogs allowed either. Plenty of public parking available for a nominal fee. all in all looked like a great place for a fun family excursion.

OK, this town is very clean, very healthy, very nice and... Very boring and useless! Nothing is the streets, the beach is very expensive, 15$ for adults, 8$ for children and seniors (>55 years old). The beach is small and water not very attractive. Do not go there!

Never actually ended up entering, the three tiny (albeit well maintained white sand) beaches that $15 a person gets you access to just isn't worth it. Another one of the local 'attractions' that are really anti-tourist and pro-resident season pass holder. Midweek, when empty, nonetheless!

This beach is nice an a fun and save place for kids but the price is high. The boardwalk and shops are fun to checkout but it does get busy on the weekends.

It's a nice beach, but $15 a person?? I wish I had read reviews first - entirely my fault. It did appear to be a nice beach, but for the entrance fee and additional charges for beach chairs or umbrellas - it's a little prohibitive to family travelers. We were only looking to spend an hour or two at a beach, then go shopping around the cute little town and walk on the boardwalk. Instead we drove down to Calvert Cliffs State Park. For $5 per car and a 1.8 mile walk on a very groomed trail, we were able to splash in the bay, beach comb and lay in the sunshine.
