Though I do not golf, I do cross-country ski, to which the Whitefish Golf Club fully and enthusiastically caters in the winter time. They have a very reasonable day-pass fee of $8, paid via the "honour system", a little rental and pro shop open 7 days a week with at least one super helpful and friendly lady should you have any questions, and gorgeous scenery.I had only brought my skate skis along with me (I didn't want to deal with grip wax this trip) and the groomer cleans up the trails every morning by about 8:30 or 9:00. I'm not sure how often they track-set for classic, but I believe it's every few days. I enjoyed a lovely ski throughout the entire course, my favourite being the Lost Loon Lake loop. It isn't a massive course, but it has a lovely mix of rolling terrain, twists and curves, straights and flats, etc.Because they are open 24 hours with 4 km of lovely ambient trail lighting all night long, I returned in the evening to enjoy the trails again. I was lucky enough to enjoy a clear night, so skiing along the soft lamplit trails and seeing the stars across the sky was really special and wonderful.A great ski, well worth a measly $8 trail fee!

We take the family here at least once a year for the very best dinner you can get in the Valley - compare it to your favorite steakhouse and you'll agree with me, tough to find better anywhere. Vaule - OMG yes!!!Service - wonderful and charming.

Consistently good food food and service will bring you back time after time. Request the table in front of the fire when it is cold, or the table in the window when you want some privacy and a view. One of the best restaurants in whitefish!!

A great course (south) at twilight rates. Unfortunately they seem to let the local homeowners jump on the course and slow down a brisk pace of play. Probably not worth the full rate.

My husband enjoyed his morning golfing. He was put with locals who didn't seem to like tourists. He still had fun and enjoyed the hilly course.

Fast greens. Undulating fairways. Lots of water on back nine. Great hot dogs at half way shack. Tight in places. Practice range had mats to hit off of, boo. And why can't you get a decent golf cart with ball washer, cooler and a gps?

We traves without our clubs. We were allowed to borrow clubs to use at the driving range and on the course. Great staff in the pro shop and on the course. We had a blast!!!

The course was in excellent condition. The staff was courteous and efficient. I would recommend this course as the layout was beautiful and a fair test for my fellow golfers.

This used to be a country club & it still has lots of older people & golfers, but the food & service never fail. It's one of the best dinners in Whitefish.
