Located in Uptown Butte, the Piccadilly Musuem is a mix of old auto related advertising memorabilia from around the world and old cars. You can see license plates from all 50 states dating back to the early 1920's. You can see road signs from the USA, Europe and Canada. The car related advertising includes gas and oil companies, auto parts companies, insurance companies, AAA, telephone companies, and soft drink manufacturers from around the world. The collect ion is quite eclectic and well worth the $3 admission. My personal favorite is the life-like rendition of the old rural 1930's filling station. Remember that you are in Butte, Montana, not London, England, when you see the Tube (subway) station signs on the wall. The Piccadilly Circus stop sign takes up an entire wall.Hours are "10ish" to 5 during the summer months. It's best to call ahead to make sure someone is there.
