This place had so much more to offer than I had expected! The grounds were absolutely beautiful! It was much larger than I had imagined it would be. We picked raspberries and peaches. These were seriously the best raspberries I've ever had! They also had several different animals and a little kid town which was very cute. The town was geared toward younger kids than mine but they still had fun walking through it. If I'm ever in this area again we will return!

I love this farm, and have been going there for YEARS. Local Moms around here know what a popular playdate spot it is, pack a picnic or buy lunch, feed the animals, etc. Went there last week to learn that they now charge $3 just to walk in!!!! So if my husband and I go and bring our child, it costs us $9?!?!? We pay ALOT of money for fruits and veggies (7 bucks for a pound of cherries? Really?) and we always spend money while we're there on donuts or whatever. So to be charged just to get in is just outrageous. Then we paida $5 deposit for a wagon to go pick peaches, and they KEEP 2 dollars when you return it!!! Are they serious?!? I understand that they deserve to make money, and they work hard.....but don't forget the locals, who have supported you all these years. They should charge per car maybe, or put out a donation box, but to just go for a playdate on a weekday and be charged $3 per person (even the kids!) is unfair and ridiculous. I'm sure the city people and tourists won't mind....but the locals DO! Maybe we aren't your target customer anymore. Nobody wants to meet there for playdates anymore. You are really risking ruining it all, Lawrence Farms! What a shame.

Lawrence Farms Orchards is a hidden gem! Farm fresh fruit and vegetable picking, beautiful views, animals to visit and feed, a quaint village of play houses for the children to play in and a store and bakery with lots of great offerings - dynamite donuts!

As a few have stated, it is pricey to pick your own fruits. When our kids were smaller it was fun to visit but not when they're older. Nice little play village & water fowl in the pond. A lot of wasted fruit on the grounds. They have veggies also. Worth being a chaperone on a class trip.

Enjoyable day to wander the orchards, pick various varieties of apples and other seasonal fruits and vegetables. Nice setting with things to do for kids. Enjoy the delicious donuts as well. Gets crowded on the weekends, especially in early Sept when the weather is nice. Worth the drive.
