Lewiston is a fantastic town! We met a local woman, Evelyn, at the Stone House bar. She was so excited because she had just made travel plans to Paris and Rome. We were with friends on our way to a wedding on Michigan. Evelyn told us about this reading at the Opera House. She was going to meet her husband there, he was in a band that was going to play a set of songs before the reading. The Opera House was a lot of fun. They served snacks for a donation -- pizza, cookies, wine, cider, brownies. I didn't t catch the name of the band, but I did dance to one of the songs. We bought Catherine's book, and she autographed it. She spoke for about 20 minutes. This is her third book, and she led an interesting life in Lewiston as a child, and then her adult adventures...including signing up with the Black Panthers, well, you'll have to buy her books!,
