You have read about them in books, seen them on the big screen in movies. Here's a chance to actual shop in one. This experience is off the interstate in the small community of Fremont, MN. (Don't go into Lewiston, even though that is the address) Granted there isn't much on their shelves, but just stepping inside this place is worth the drive to this little country store. Instantly you get the feeling of stepping back to the Little House or Walton's Eras. This store is a page out of history, the little refrigerated compartments where the eggs, milk and sodas are. The merchandise on shelves as high as the store is tall. Even if all you buy is a candy bar and soda, it's worth the trip and experience, you even have to make your own change, try that at a retail or your local Grocery store. If you are in the Winona, MN. area, find this place you won't regret it.
