This is a great track to watch and race on. As a racer they are very organized with keeping the show moving and great track prep. They have great safety crews that where trained to deal with the cars that are racing there. I have been on both sides of this track as a racer and spectator in the stands and would return to track as either one again. They have built a great track and facility along with a pretty good museum.

If you like races, especially sprint cars, this is the place to be. Race car drivers come from all over the world to race at this dirt track. The bleachers are hard so bring something soft to seat on, unless you have a suite reserved. The suites are warm with soft seats and plenty of room to lay out a nice buffet with a variety of drinks. I grew up going to these races before the suites were built, moved away and then came back to the town that houses this track. The Nationals are held every summer and has grown in number of spectators. People have been making the Nationals their vacation for generations. I have talked to families that had three to four generations with them, telling me of times the oldest generation started coming. During the Nationals be sure to check out the corn dog stand where you will find some of the best corn dogs. Beside the race track you will find a Sprint Car museum where you can catch up on the history of this popular sport. If you get to the races early and have time to visit some of the other locations, try Nearwood Winery on the square, Sandals Bar beside them, one of the restaurants across from the Court House, Peace Tree Brewery just off the square or the famous Dingus across from the track. When races are not going on they also hold bands, the Marion County Fair and other activities at this place.

Spend every Saturday night during the season at the track. The drivers put on some of the best shows/races you will find. Knoxville raceway is one of the top tracks you will visit.Staff and management makes this all work every race.Thank you to all of the rated #1safety crew at the track.

Average looking race track. Sprint Car museum was very cool! The track is easy to get to and plenty of parking available. Although we were not there during a race weekend, we could see the facility was designed to make it easy to access.Restaurants are fairly scarce in walking distance to /from the track so you might consider eating before you get there or bring your own to tailgate or just have a picnic lunch.

If you like dirt track racing you will love this place. If you can't make it to the Nationals you need to try and take in their weekly show. This place puts all other tracks to shame and will spoil you into coming back. Been coming for 15 years.

I just attended my 34th Knoxville Nationals and just like every year before, I can't wait to go back again. I love the people, food and of course the racing. If you have never been to Knoxville during the Nationals and are a racing fan, this is a must for your bucket list.

The grandstands need another elevator. There are a lot of disabled people that always have to go to the 2nd floor on there scooters - sit clear at the end.

As car racing is a declining sport you would think that a track would do all they could to make things pleasant and convenient for their audience but this one sure does not! I had purchased 2 tickets online for both Friday and Saturday night at a price of $179.00 but when we got there Friday night we were told that Wednesday have been moved to Friday (go figure) thus we could not get in unless we paid $78.00 for Wednesday tickets on Friday. This is very difficult to explain and because it is almost unbelievable it is even more difficult to understand. They would not give us any refund whatsoever so we simply left the track after we had already paid over $100.00 for a hotel and $10.00 for parking. The Friday night races had been moved to Saturday morning so we could get in then. Had we known any of this beforehand we could have simply drove to the track (about 100 miles each way from home) Saturday morning and not had to purchase a hotel which was approximately another 50 miles NW. All in all, it cost us an extra $110.00 plus driving an extra 100 miles! Also, there did not appear to be anything professional about the whole event. The crew that drove the wreckers, etc. did not even have helmets on. In short, we would never consider going back and will still be contacting the facility to see if we can recover any money for the tickets or other extra expenses. I am also going to purchase a domain that will have their name in it and tell my whole story and hopefully this will discourage others from ever going to this track.

Got a chance to take in the weekly racing program at Knoxville Raceway recently. I have been here before and try to make it whenever I can. Three of us made the trek (about 5 hour drive) and it was well worth it. There is a reason it is the 'Sprint Car Capitol' of the world. They do a great job of prepping the track and making the program click along. Only $15 for adults and of course much less for kids, you can't go wrong here. I'm surprised the grandstand isn't packed each week. The concessions are reasonably priced and to see live, world class racing, you can't go wrong. My only complaint if you will would be that the PA needs a little help. The other plus is the Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum are right there in turn 2, so come early and spend some time. They keep it fresh with new displays and a good place to see where the pioneers and champions of auto racing made it all happen. Wish I lived closer, would be there much more often. Hope to take in the famous Knoxville Nationals again one of these years. Kudos to the raceway and staff... Great job!
