Great place for local artists to display their artworks and and to sell very quaint and charming one of a kind gifts. Shows change on a regular basis, new show about every month. Check it out when you are in town.

Mankato is yet another community that has preserved the wonderful library that Mr. Carnegie funded some 100 years ago. Every 6 weeks another artists is featured in their gallery space. You never know what you will find on a visit. The Art Center has a wonderful gift shop with jewelry, wood turning, pottery, fiber art, paintings, collage, kiln fired glass, weaving, and other original creations. All of this art is by local artists and artisans. The Art Center is staffed by all volunteers and they are to be applauded for preserving this marvelous building and helping it continue its service to the Mankato community. Andrew Carnegie would be very proud of these citizens. Mankato has a treasure here that they need to support and nurture.

Good parking abounds at the Art Carnegie Art Center with an awesome craft shop, fantastic art shows, and fun programming. There is something for everyone.

Great place to see local art showcased. Large space smartly divided up into three galleries and a new workspace for classes. I like that they kept the feel of the historical building intact.
