Video in beginning provides a great overview. We also started on the docent tour but it repeated most of what was on the video so I would suggest doing one or the other. Gift shop has really nice notepads, etc. with her art.

Wonderful displays of O'Keeffe works that you can get really up close to see. They rotate her works as well as other featured artists so there is always something new. it is well laid out and we got the audio which really made it come alive. Don't miss the short video on her life towards the front. We really enjoyed the photos taken of her as well. Short enough to get a good feel for her work without burning out.

We did not have a lot of time to spend here. If you are an O'Keeffe fan you will enjoy this museum. It is small and manageable. The movie about her life is wonderful. I am not a big O'Keeffe fan, but enjoyed this museum.

A small museum but lovely pieces of O'Keeffe. Start with the movie on her life and then take your time through the museum. Since it is not really large you can go slowly- as always a feast for the eyes showing off her work in several mediums! There is also a very cool re-creation of her ranch window with her inspiring view and her work table. In addition there are works of art from other artists sprinkled around. Wonderful Docents give tours check the times. The museum was one of my favorite things in Santa Fe.

We LOVED our visit to the Georgia O'Keefe museum. For our family visit (2 parents, one 6 year old) the small scale was perfect. The paintings and exhibitions were gorgeous, and the clerks at the desk offered a sketchpad and pencil to our daughter who went right to work. It was truly a perfect visit!

I have seen many Georgia O'Keeffe's works online and in books, but the most famous ones aren't in this museum. I enjoyed the museum anyway. It was nice, but I doubt I'll be back. I'd rather look at the scenery outside.

I appreciate art, and if you are just a huge Georgia O'Keeffe Museum then spend the money, but it is a small museum, and I would suggest a using the $12 to have a nice glass of wine and tour the galleries of Canyon Road for free.

The newly remodeled Georgia O'Keeffe museum is minimalist in design, which seems consistent with her manner, and has a strong collection of her later works, dating largely from the mid-30's forward. Unfortunately, her earlier works from her time living in New York are absent, but a visit is well worth the trip. A pleasant surprise was a side gallery of portraits of the artist, including a few photos by Philippe Halsman.

The Georgia O'Keefe Museum, the reason I came to Santa Fe. I have always admired Georgia O'Keefe's work and her as a female in the art world. Her works and the museum spoke to me and affected me emotionally reminding me of my own artistry and how I should have devoted more time to my drawings. The next time I visit Santa Fe I will take the tour of her house. You cannot visit Santa Fe without spending time at the museum.I appreciated the locker room provided to store your coats, wet books and any bags.

We only had one day; we filled it with 3 churches, 2 museums. It was great! We stayed at the Sants Fe Motel and Inn; which was a pleasant surprise!
