We were excited to plan our 200 mile round trip excursion to Santa Rosa to visit this museum. We checked the internet for Saturday hours and made certain our arrival was during their posted "open" hours. Unfortunately, our 1:00 pm arrival found the museum closed and the doors chained and padlocked. Quite a disappointment considering the miles we drove to visit this museum. If it was lunch, they should have posted a "closed will return at XX" sign. You may want to call their location before planning your visit.

This was AMAZING! The cars, hostess, gift shop - everything was just a perfect addition to our "mini Route 66" trip!!!

What a great little treasure this place is, quite different from any motor museum I've ever seen as a large percentage of the cars on display are actually for sale - my hand kept reaching towards my wallet. Bozo doesn't even do a sales pitch - he has no need to, they sell themselves. The cars are all a great credit to his and Anna's loving care.Very highly recommended.Warrior193.

Anna and Bozo are great, the museum is full of beautifully restored cars and memorabilia, we even bought a car to ship back to the UK

This is just off the freeway in Santa Rosa, NM and definitely worth the stop if you like classic cars. The cars in the museum have been beautifully restored and there is a lot of Route 66 memorabilia. It's small enough that you can make a short stop and get back on the road if you have a long trip ahead of you. Very friendly proprietors.

We went for the second time there. Fantastic collection in classic cars and other collectables and memorabilia. We were in there so long that they nearly had to throw us out.

Cool little museum and varied collection. Certainly worth $5 and would come back again. Check out the Studebaker out front.

My family and I have driven past this place many times and today we were able to stop in and take a look. Cool little gift shop in the front which sells all kinds of Route 66 merch and car stuff, plus they have some great couch/benches to sit on which are made out of old car back ends. The cash register area is amazing, it's made out of the front of an old chevy, so cool! Entrance fee to the museum was $5 for each adult and $2.50 for our kids, so it was pretty reasonable. The lady running the place was very nice and they had one very interesting cars inside. If you are traveling 66 or are just heading down I40, stop in say hi and take a look!

If you're going through Santa Rosa, don't leave without a stop at the auto museum. You could spend hours ! Lots of antiques and classics and they don't seem to mind how many pictures you take !A place for the car nut and the picture taking nut ! I actually think they like you take pictures. Unfortunately I have visited places that won't even let you take one picture. :-( But this is one of the reasons I keep coming back - Just to take "one more picture."Some of the cars are for sale, too - Provided you have the cold hard cash. But they are all in |"mint" conditions and the prices are reasonable considering the condition.
