Have lived 2 miles away for 24 years. This used to be a great place for fresh fruit and vegetables, plus they had a large covered area with pens where visitors could see ducks, geese and a variety of other animals (for free!). But those are long gone. In the last 15 or so years they've moved towards decorative crafts (painted roosters on jugs and the like). Plus, I don't really enjoy crowds or toddlers, and as others have noted, Remlinger's is now mostly geared toward children under 12. My last visit, last summer, found two or three rows of mediocre quality, easily obtainable in any grocery store items ...and no lower prices. Most of the retail space is now turned over to overpriced jars of jam or pickles and wine.

Remlinger Farms is such a fun place your kids may not even know they are learning 'tons' of new stuff! It is almost like walking into a working classroom, only 'fun!' And, it's for ALL ages, young and old alike! Pick your own strawberries, attend all their various fun festivals and activities, and enjoy all their great animals! Families can literally spend hours here, and it's only about a 1/2 hours drive from anywhere on the Eastside! Have Fun!!!

Kudos for all the fall harvest decorations and hundreds of scarecrows tastefully decorated and placed throughout the farm. With toddlers it is a great place to go as there are numerous rides they can enjoy as well as pony rides, all included in the entry fee. Shame on them for truly ripping people off by selling corn on the cob at $3.75 each. I was appalled when the vendors at the fairs were selling corn at $3, so imagine my disgust at $3.75! Had it been organic, I might have considered. Then into the tourist trap store where I had hoped to buy any organic fruit. Not a single organic, anything in site. On to the ice cream bar where I had hoped to get anything vegan - nope, not an option. Furthermore I had an issue as I had purchased a Groupon for the visit which was valid well intoMid-September. Hubby and I had hoped to go during the week with our grandson once schools were back in again. Nope - just to find out that they now were only open on weekends. Too bad that had not been disclosed on the Groupon offer!

My wife and I popped in here just to ride the coaster (we're coaster enthusiasts) but we had a little look around while we were there to see what Remlinger Farms offered visitors. The main attraction here is a collection of kiddie amusement rides, combined with a small farm area, some farm animals, a miniature train ride and a small market / shop. The coaster is designed for children although adults can ride, however most of the attractions are really for children only. I have added a few photos to the review to give a flavour of the place. It was nice to pop in to ride the coaster, but we wouldn't expect many people to visit without children.

On a warm, sunny warm Saturday in September, we arrived at opening time. The place was immediately crowded. There were screaming toddlers everywhere. If you have a toddler, I suggest going here because you won't feel out of place when your little tike yells and tantrums. Was not impressed with the food and restaurant. Food was kinda gross. Not impressed much with the store as there's nothing you can't get elsewhere. Lines were long and tedious in every part of the park. Not enough cashiers. And worst of all, there is only one restroom which you have to walk through the whole park and through the restaurant to get to.Highlights for my daughter were the pony ride, train ride, antique cars, and canoe ride (that is why I'm giving it 3 stars). I realize that the heat of the day and crowds got to me, so if you enjoy that sort of thing, a weekend at Remlinger Farms may be just right for your family. So in conclusion: Long lines, not enough cashiers, not enough rest rooms, food sucks, screaming toddlers. Just some good ole' family fun, right?

I had seen many ads for Remlinger farms over the past few years, so this past August, when my grandson was visiting, I decided to go with all the family. The ads portray a charming petting zoo in a wholesome setting. My party of 6 adults and child arrived at 3pm....and were informed that you have to purchase a ticket for entry to all in order to see the petting zoo, and that they close at 4:30. We asked if we might be given a discount since it was so close to closing time...they refused. So, since it was such a long drive there, we paid the full amount for our party, about $83.00 and went in.The petting zoo was horrendous. There were two sickly looking sheep with their fleece filthy and half hanging off, and two goats equally dirty with malformed horns, probably from poor care. It smelled very bad, and there was not an employee anywhere to be found. I truly felt sorry for the animals, and also for myself that I was robbed. So we walked further to the "rides"...which were as derelict as the animals. My son waited in line at the pumpkin ride for 15 min. only to get to the front of the line when the ride broke down. That was the icing on the cake. We left after 30 minutes and $83.00 lighter. I could not even purchase anything from the store I was so angry. I also will never purchase any food items from Remlinger farms that are sold in Seattle, because I have no trust in the company. My advice is for all to avoid this place like the plaque...it's a tourist trap.

If you have kids this place seems great! I don't have any, went there for produce and didn't have fresh cherries when they were in season. Lots of prepacked food frozen and jars. I might check it out again this fall to see if they offer a little more

This is basically an amusement park for kids -- while there is some produce available, and a few goats, sheep, and pigs in a dark barn, that's really the extent of the farm deal. It's a good place for kids to ride basic, safe rides. The train is about the only ride suitable for adults, and it's fine. This place is what it is, a good park for kids under 10. The warning signs are a little too prolific: I don't think there's really ALL that much danger afoot here.

We went to Remlinger Farms around Independence Day. Not only was the weather fantastic (no rain the entire week we were there), it was so much fun picking our own raspberries, having our kids ride all the attractions, and eating at the restaurant. Highly recommended for a day trip!

Remlinger farms has bit of stuff for everyone. Small theme park for kids, grocery area with specialized local goods and produce, restaurant, and a berry picking farm. We have come hear several times mostly for berry picking. But I will review it all.First berry picking. This is our favorite activity. They have Strawberries in June. Raspberries in July and usually blueberries near the end of July and August. Berry picking is paid cash only. You pick them and bring it up to the counter, they weigh it and you pay. Decent prices for berry picking. The field is wide open with no shade so on a sunny day, bring a hat, sunscreen, and plenty of water. The general store has knick knacks and local produce and various local and specialty goods. To be honest, the prices are very high and of all the items we bought, none were really any good. If you are here, its interesting to walk around but really, nothing was any good. Disappointing because I usually am a sucker for these places.Kids theme park. $14 to get in per person. Kids are the same price as the adults, even the little ones. 1 years or younger are free. The kids love the place as they get to go on the little rides. But there is nothing for the adults to do except watch the little ones on the rides. They have shows and pony rides. Once here is enough but we had fun.Restaurant. Average american classics. Nothing spectacular. Little spendy for the qualitly. Enough said. They also do pumpkins in the fall and have a corn maze and tractor rides. I was disappointed here. I have been to better corn mazes. This one is one of the worst. It was a maze. But was not interesting or challenging.Overall, this place is good. I can't knock it too hard, because it is a local place and the kids love it.
