I highly recommend Lakeridge golf course as a fun and forgiving layout. There are a few water features, but they only add some interest and challenge to an otherwise wide open and very playable course. The staff is always friendly and as long as there is no snow on the ground in the winter, one can play this course.

Our trip wasn't planned to include golf, but we decided we wanted another day outdoors instead of in the casinos. Based on TripAdvisor info, we chose the LakeRidge Country Club and we enjoyed this course very much! It is a beautiful Robert Trent Jones design and it had a lot of challenges to the average player like us. The staff were courteous and most helpful. As we had not included golf in our original plan, we had to rent clubs and were somewhat disappointed in the clubs they provided us. But we still had fun despite this issue! The course offers many unique holes, but #15 is their signature hole (island green from elevated tees). Wow!!! Beautiful.

Two of us played after 1 pm mid week, and were very impressed with everything. The course is beautiful and well maintained, greens in great shape, fast. We came from out of town, called ahead to reserve a tee time and rental clubs. We were met by a helpful and friendly guy in the pro shop, he allowed us to play as a twosome. the starter was super friendly and gave us some advice and info on the course. there was cart service for drinks and snacks on the course, with a very nice young lady. Overall, this was a great golf experience, would highly recommend it.

I have played this course many times at different times of the year. It is usually in very decent condition but the time of year can change conditions considerably. For example, early fall has lots of goose droppings everywhere. Late fall can make finding your ball among the leaves very difficult. Any day of the week, especially weekends can make for a very long round due to the amount of players that want to play this course. The restaurant and bar are very nice and the green fees are slightly above average.

Under new management but they are keeping the course well maintained. Great greens - super fast. Good selection of tee boxes for all levels. Number 15 island green is special.

We played here after 1:00 and got a good rate. However we had reserved the rental clubs and thought we were getting Taylor Made clubs. Not! They were awful clubs and the grips were in need of repair. The number 15 island green is awesome. The course was in great shape. The snack cart does not come around to much so bring plenty of water.

My husband and father played golf in the morning. They said the course was in good shape but not great shape. They suspected maybe a tournament was recently played. My mother and I joined them for breakfast. Our meals were very good. Congrats Duncan family for running another great golf course in the area.

It is a pretty course with a lot of water and sand traps! Tough for me! I did manage to par the toughest island green which was so much fun!

We played at a few courses end of April on our visit to Reno and enjoyed this one the most. It was in great shape, a very playable course and it has the signature hole which is beautiful. We kept going back to this one! The staff are all very friendly. We played with a few members which were very helpful and really nice. The pace was really good on the weekdays but then we went on a Saturday and it was very slow. 6 hour round which I find unnecessary. They can move the course to a 5 hour play pace but they don't. Play during weekdays if you can.It was worth it and I would recommend playing here.
