We attended the Tea & Crumpets fund raiser here, probably spent less than an hour. The building is beautiful, hard to believe it was a private home, a Jewish Temple, a popular wedding venue and one of Tulsa's most haunted places. Many of the original architectural and design features remain. The garden center gift shop is in a separate building and reminded us of a thrift shop. There was an admission fee for Tea & Crumpets and lunch was available for purchase on that day. My only other visit, was to submit entrees to a photography contest. Tulsa Garden Society and Herb Society meet here, the garden center maintains a library upstairs.

Even in the fall the garden was beautiful with all the fall colors, it was just beautiful, particularly for a group coming from Arizona!

Where have all the flowers gone? We visited on a Sunday morning expecting to see lots of flowers. The garden area outside at the greenhouses was disappointing. The plants in the greenhouse were stressed and the greenhouse was in need of watering and a good clean. The park area had lots of dogs off the lease which was a major nuisance and restricted where you could safely walk. The name plates on the trees was very useful. 30 minutes was long enough.

My favourite time to visit Garden Center is when the roses are out. The hot houses are worth a visit as is the gift shop.

Many roses lost to a plant disease. 7 foot high sunflowers were beautiful, anchored by zinnias. Don't miss the Conservatory/greenhouse.

This is a great place to visit, and I strongly encourage you to not only visit, but support the Rose Garden. They've suffered a tremendous loss due to a disease (rosette virus) that swept through the rose gardens. I know they are working hard to bring the area back into service, and your help or donations would be helpful.

Was there for the Linnaeus gardens but could not leave without walking the beautiful rose garden and touring the mansion and carriage house! What a very tranquil and educational area in the middle of Tulsa. Good job

We really enjoyed the garden center. It only took us about a half and hour to walk through the whole thing so it not worth a special trip. But it is very close to the Philbrook museum so if you are there, you should stop by. We ended up finding a cute little table in the shade and stayed for another 30 minutes just enjoying the breeze and the pretty view of the koi pond. The volunteers there were so nice. We went into the building...there is not really much in there but there were several volunteers. They were all so nice and told us about the training they go through to work there and that it is entirely taken care of by volunteers and donations. They also told us about some restaurants to visit and about Food Truck Wednesday on Guthrie Green. So it was well worth the visit to us to get some insiders tips! So overall, a very pretty place to visit and very nice people!

This free garden center is part of Woodward Park with free parking and lots of gardens and conservatories to explore. There is a formal garden area of roses, which were nice except that many of the roses had already finished blooming when we visited in early June. Although the conservatory was not large in size, each room is filled with interesting specimens, including orchids, carnivorous plants, succulents, etc. The Linnaeus Teaching Garden area was wonderful, with a wide variety of vegetables growing in a demonstration home garden. We happened to go on a Saturday when they were having an open house here, so there were many volunteers on hand to greet visitors and answer any questions. They were even serving free cold lemonade and cookies - so welcome on a hot day! It was so pleasant to stroll through the entire place and admire all of the different simple to grow herbs, vegetables and some fruits. We enjoyed our picnic lunch in a nice shady spot near the Linnaeus Garden.
