A little bit of history narrated by a friendly guide, down the canal of Bricktown, for $9.50 for 40 minutes, a pleasant and interesting diversion. It's great to see OKC revive this area--it used to be desolate, dangerous, abandoned, and now it's a thriving district of restaurants and tourists. It would be welcome to see some more local, unique businesses lining the canal rather than Hooters, the Toby Keith place, and Starbucks, but it's nice to see the area become vital and bustling again.

Really nice! You pay $9.50(adult) and the guide tell you a lot of nice histories about the construction of the canal and about the buildings and restaurants around there. It takes around 30 minutes. Recomended!

My Wife and I have made use of this Service many times to take a very nice tour of Oklahoma City area. Each Boat trip is a narrated venture through the city. I would highly recommend this service to any new or old visitors to the Oklahoma City area. D.J.Julian

This was a nice treat. I and a few friends took this just outside of Toby Keith's restaurant. We had to get the tickets across the water on the other side before hand. We did this before we ate. It was a nice way to see downtown OKC and also to hear a little history lesson. I loved the iron statues of the Land Run. I liked that I could go back on again if I got tired of walking along the river walk. Pretty nice, just take some water with you if its hot!!! And sunscreen!!!

This is a nice little trip thru the "Happening" part of downtown OKC. As locals, we have taken the water taxi several times with out of town guest. We have found it depends upon the Tour Guide on how fun & informative the ride can be. If you are lucky enough to get a "chatty" Guide, it can be quite enjoyable and enlightening about OKC history and trivia. Otherwise, it is still a nice way to spend 45 mins sitting down while getting a unique view of the city and learning a little a little history.

Once you have done it, you usually do not do it more than once unless you bring guests in from out of town. It's a nice view of Bricktown and I believe it will be expanded in the future.

Some friends and I used the Water Taxi to see all of Bricktown (upper and lower) as we were recommended it. Although the canal is fairly modern and is in a still growing part of the City, there was plenty to see, and our Tour Guide James was both informative and funny. He gave us a history of Bricktown, as well as OKC in general, and described many aspects of the City. His tour had a strong lean on sports, relating many aspects of the History to the various teams and sports practiced in OKC, which may not be to everyone's interest, however my friends and I loved it, as did the rest of our boatload.I would definitely recommend this if you want a relaxing run around the Bricktown area for 45 mins, or just want to take in the sights.

We took the water taxi with a family group who were all from out of town. We all enjoyed the history and stories the guide told.

Short ride with most places closed around 2pm weekday. Doesn't hold a candle to the river walk in San Antonio. Nice people and clean with a lot of construction. It is growing.

Reading the reviews, it seems that a lot of the Water Taxi experience depends on the boat guide. We had a great one - full of history and stories about Bricktown. He was able to answer all the questions that the people on the boat asked. The all-day wristband pass was $9.50, which allows you to use the boat like a taxi. We just took the 40 minute ride from one end to the other, and never got back on, so we probably didn't get the best use of our money. There were people getting on and off during the ride, however. This is also the best way to see the Oklahoma Land Run Monument, which was otherwise a little hard to find. This wasn't the best thing that we did in OKC, but wasn't the worst, either. With a good boat guide, I'd recommend it.
