My mom and I made a quick trip (1 hour drive) to Greenville simply to visit the KitchenAid Experience. It was amazing!! From the moment we walked in the front door, everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. The store smelled like fresh baked cookies and seemed so homey and inviting, even though it was wall to wall kitchen appliances and tools. It truly is a dream come true for someone who loves to cook to walk through those doors. I could have spent the entire day just browsing the aisles and chatting with the employees!! The museum downstairs is a must- see. I'm already planning my return trip :)

Beautiful store, well maintained, well managed, great staff!!!! Don't really need to say more!Bathrooms just as beautiful and clean as rest of the store. The best deals are when they have sidewalk sales in July during the annual Annie Oakly Days wk/end in town. Best prices & always gifts w/purchase. Don't miss the downstairs for re-furbished items at deep discounts with all the warranties as new & actually look new. Always buy my wedding gifts there & they gift wrap BEAUTIFULLY free with, I believe, a $50 purchase. Also, have cooking classes & contests several times a yr. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this store & lucky to live close by!

The store is very neat, clean and organized. I was able to find a glass bowl for a mixer for $20! Their prices are always lower than what you will find at Kohls, Macy's or any of the other Department stores who carry the brand. Downstairs you will find the "refurbished" items as well as a "mixer museum" The staff are always helpful. March is the month when they offer "trade ins". You bring an electrical appliance in to the store and they will give you a credit for purchase towards a new item. I have never personally done this but is a great way to start your kitchenaid collection! You can also take your kitchenaid appliances into the store or directly to the factory if it needs repairs.

What a great find! Love kitchen aid products and this place was fun! Suzy was wonderful, answered all our questions and had helpful info. The cashier was crabby but she was easy to ignore and did not have any affect on the experience. well worth going out of your way and its a great small town with other shops to visit.

The store is easily found and has ample parking in front. You can find small kitchen utensils such as spatulas, knives, measuring cups, as well as small appliances like coffee grinders and hand mixers. Items are attractively arranged on tables with an actual product in each area so you can actually see and feel the quality. The day I made a stop a small bus tour was dropping by to make apple dumplings. They offer small cooking demonstrations (free) and the employees are very knowledgeable and easy to take with. The bathrooms are spotless. Downstairs they have refurbished appliances, mainly the large Kitchenaide mixers. They also had cooper bottomed pans the day I was there for sale. The prices are reasonable.

Getting an actual factory tour while product is in production isn't as common as it was when I was growing up. Most likely, insurance liability is a big factor. Anyway, we found this tour most enjoyable. It hadn't dawned on my just how much of the KitchenAid mixer is metal until I saw the various components either bare metal or going through the paint line. Fun to watch the robots at work and to lean that workers are not on piece rate but hourly wage. News of a big expansion was encouraging to hear, as was the information that they are selling world-wide now.Twice we've gone to the downtown store during Annie Oakley days. Great specials and a mob of people taking advantage of them. Friendly staff say they enjoy taking a break from factory work to be a part of the shopping experience. Our purchases were carted to our car two blocks away by one of the workers. With machines that heavy, it was welcome. Walk down the street to the ice cream/dessert shop at the end of the block across from the movie theater for a tasty treat and look up at the original tin ceiling. Yummy flavors.

This is well worth your time to visit Greenville, OH and take the plant tour and go downtown to the KitchenAid Retail Center Experience. Very informative and interesting! The pride within this company is experience as the employees are putting together the KitchenAid Stand Mixer!

If you're coming to Greenville Ohio for the KitchenAid experience and factory tour then you have to know that the two are in separate places: The KitchenAid Experience is in downtown Greenville while the factory tour is a couple of miles away. We started the day with a visit to the KitchenAid Experience in downtown Greenville. It was very nicely laid out with plenty of KitchenAid products to purchase. The lower level has historical information about KitchenAid along with old mixers, attachments, etc. The refurbished units are also available for purchase in the lower level. We arrived just in time for a cooking demonstration of a pasta dish. The woman doing the demonstration was very knowledgeable, and helped highlight some of KitchenAid's products. She answered our questions and had a great sense of humor, and we got to eat some of the pasta dish once it was finished. Overall the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We left there and drove over to the factory tour that started at 12:30. Our tour guide was one of the actual workers in the factory that rotates as a tour guide. She was very nice, but unfortunately not a good tour guide. She emphasized the lines she was familiar with, and used a lot of shop jargon that we as outsiders didn't understand. We have been to many factory tours of different manufacturers and have always come away with a greater appreciation of the products, but we left KitchenAid with no desire to ever buy the product. I'm sure if we had a better tour guide the experience would have been more positive.

They have an amazing amount of products to look at and choose from. The kitchen makes easy great tasting recipes. You really need to try this if you come to Greenville

I don't cook. I either eat out, have take out, sometimes tv dinners. But some members of my family are very good cooks. Some of them are using Kitchenaid products. So it was interesting to see how it's made and to find out about it.We really enjoyed the tour. Staff were pleasant & knowledgeable. We highly recommend it.
