We visited this establishment simply because it was raining and we needed an inside attraction to visit! Now I feel guilty for admitting this because it was a fun time and we even spent money on jellies to take home. The candy we ate on the way back to our villa and it was so good - nice strong favor and fresh! We got to see the ladies working in the candy making room - so clean you could eat off the floor! I suggest you pay a visit if you are in the area.

Lots of gifts here in the form of fruity jellies, jams, marmalades etc - anything citrus based can be found here. If you go at the right time you can see the workers making these delicious delicacies. Slightly over priced and full to bursting with colourings that would make even the sanest child/adult hyperactive! A good stop off for a quick look around.

After visiting the Ridge Island orange groves, we drove to the Davidson of Dundee store. You can look in the windows at the ladies making the candy, but the real attraction here is the multitude of jams, jellies, and marmalades for sale. We tried the many samples. In the end we bought the Key Lime Jelly and the Jalapeno Pepper Jelly as well as some Coconut Cream (think coconut flavored marshmallow fluff!), and some Key Lime Pie filling. We bought the tiny 3 oz size ($2.25) to add to Christmas gifts next winter, and the larger 8 oz size ($3.25) to share with family now. The store was easy to find, fairly tidy, and had adequate bathroom facilities. The cashier packed my jars in a nice box with a divider which I later mailed home to myself.

We arrived about 4 pm. The samples of candy were gone, the factory workers were just finishing cleaning their area. We didn't encounter any of the advertised hype. The gift store was nice.

This is a fun out of the way place to visit while FL. About a 30 minute drive from Kissimmee. The company offers samples of their candy and jelly. If visiting during the week one can see the employees making their products. There is also a short video to watch about their company. Absolutely fresh yummy citrus candy. You can also select oranges or grapefruit to take back with you or have them shipped. Plus they have a small snack bar. The employees are very helpful. Every time we go to Orlando we head out to Davidson of Dundee Citrus and Candy Factory for a visit, a taste and of course buying to last us until next time. A small quaint place to visit for everyone.

These guys have been around for decades and the top notch quality of their wares is testament to that. They have a wide variety of jellies and jams. Their specialty candy is called "delicacy" and comes in a vast array of mouth-watering flavors. Fresh in-season citrus is available for purchase on premises or can be shipped to any domestic address. The staff is friendly and helpful. Don't pass this quaint place up if you're on your way to Legoland, Bok Tower, and points south.

Davidson's of Dundee Candy & Jelly Factory has been in business for years - they deal in local citrus products that can be ordered and sent to friends. They make there own candies, Jams and Jellies. Large store that offers plenty of samples to try. You can watch through large windows into the factory as they made these products - Great place to stop if your traveling through - has all types of gifts to take home or send to friends - large parking lot that RV's can park. If your passing through great stop.
