I have visited several times when staying with friends in the area. It is a fantastic location and yet another jewel in the crown that makes my National Trust membership worth every penny.Extremely infuriated with all the comments regarding charging for parking.Can anyone really complain about paying £6.50 for a full day out with all the family. How on earth do they expect the buildings and grounds to be maintained and preserved with no contribution from visitors.There are no expectations to buy anything whilst there and bringing your own food is encouraged, in fact this is a sublime place to spread out the picnic rugs and enjoy a leisurely afternoon.Highly recommended for all age groups.

What a beautiful park, we hired electric bikes £15 for 2 hours and went for miles. Hiring the bikes made it possible to cover most of the place which was good. Followed by a visit to Sherwood Forrest :-)

I have not been to Clumber Park for quite a while, despite living fairly local. I thought I would take the kids for a nice walk, and knowing that the main part of Clumber is quite expensive, we would walk the woods on the outskirts which I have done previously.I parked up, and off we went for a walk, it started raining after around 45 minutes so we headed back to the car for me to be apprehended by quite a rude NT attendant in a car.He informed me I needed to cough up £6.80 to park my car where there are no bins and no facilities whatsoever! It is a shame as it is a great place to take the children.I understand the NT needs money to keep the upkeep of the park etc but I feel £6.80 to park outside the main attraction is extortionate! I would happily pay a couple of pounds but this will definitely stop me returning very often...

Nice place for a walk with family and dogs in all weathersBad points £6.50 to park... just hope they service the car for that too!!!andYou can't take dogs in the children's play area, which can be awkward when your on your own with the dog, and the kids want to play on the park.

Lots of Room to explore, always peaceful away from the main carpark area, even when very busy.Good 2nd hand bookshop, though Cafe expensive & toilets not up to usual National trust standards.

Nice family walk in pleaant surroundings. Whatever the weather snow or sun its always a lovely place to visit if its just a walk in the woodland or feed the ducks always nice place. Nice when it snows to see all the kids having fun sledging. It creates lovely family memories that last a life time

Being members of the national trust we visit clumber on a regular basis, mainly to take advantage of the walks available.The amount of wild life is excellent Well worth a visit

Lovely park, plenty of steady walks and somewhere to eat when the walk is over. Particularly attractive during the summer but also a haven during winter. Worth the membership fee on its own.

Took the kids out here during the school holidays. We all really enjoyed ourselves and had a great family day out. Will return again.

This is a great place to visit with children & dogs. There are lots of different routes to go on & on each one you are surrounded by beautiful settings. My favourite walk is round the lake, where there is also a little truck stop style cafe half way round.I am a nation trust member so I get free entry, the fee to park there otherwise is £6.80 for the whole day (I do think that is rather expensive myself)But if you go on a say in the summer and spend the whole day there it really is worth it.
